I have very stubborn sun hyperpigmentation and prominent tan lines on my arms. 

You can see the separation between my naturally neutral-toned pale skin with my tanned warmer-toned golden skin so clearly and I’ve tried putting sunscreen everyday, sugar-scrubbing and it just doesn’t budge! It’s been over a year and my tan line is looking more permanent than ever!

If anyone has any advice or product to help with getting rid of a stubborn tan, perhaps sun-damaged skin, or sun hyperpigmentation please let me know!

Stubborn Tan

Because this formula is super hydrating, I would personally not recommend it to those with very oily complexions as this would further create a moist surface on your face; especially in the morning!

VT’s Cica Cream Plus is a hydrating gel texture that feels smooth and cooling on the skin, but not oily or tacky. I recently started using it because my main moisturizer ran out, and i found that the formula is non-irritating even on my sensitive skin!

The gel has a light green color and smells faintly of tea-tree? grass? not so sure but anyway, the scent is not overpowering and I quite like it.

I used it before i went to bed and when i woke up, I found that my skin had not dried up like usual and was still pretty moisturized! It felt smooth!

The taste. It has a sweet, candy-like taste to it and when it’s on your lips, you can’t help but get  it in your mouth. I don’t particularly mind much when lip products have a taste but this one is a little overwhelming for me so I wouldn’t reach for it much even though the color is absolutely beautiful.

The color. Although I did say that the color is gorgeous, it is very very pale which may not be suitable for all skin tones. I’m pretty pale myself and this lipgloss is giving me a pretty casket-ready look when used alone. But when used as a base or a topper to make saturated colors less bright or overpowering, it is perfect!

The color of this shade is amazing, it’s a pale lilac color that will layer perfectly on top of any oversaturated shade to dim or mute it down. Shades like these are a must have for mute seasonal palettes like myself!

The formula is also amazing! The gloss doesn’t feel heavy nor sticky and has a more balmy consistency which doesn’t take away from it’s glossiness and shine.

I would recommend this product to those who don’t mind a sweet-tasting lip product and those who prefer smooth, light-weight, and balm-like glosses!

This product is purge-prone which may not be ideal for some people. I’ve had experiences with masks that don’t make me purge and still improved my skin so that’s why i’m a little iffy about this product.

The packaging gets a little messy and since the clay stick itself is very bulbous and rounded, it cannot get into the smaller crevasses of problem areas on your face. I would recommend applying some from your fingers.

The product is also pretty drying so I wouldn’t personally recommend it to anyone with very dry skin!

The stick formula is very convenient and I much prefer this solid form to the scoop-able liquid masks or the very moist sheet masks.

The ingredients in this clay mask works efficiently on closed comedones, textures, and uneven skin without irritating sensitive skin as much as other clay masks.

Some of the shades are on the paler side which might not be accommodating or even appealing to people with tanner, deeper skin tones! I would recommend their ‘Black Swan’ palette if you have a lot of melanin in your skin than the average Chinese citizen (the main target market of Flower Knows)

The shimmers and glitters are absolutely amazing! It’s not a harsh, blinding glitter type but more of the shiny, glowy, glittery vibe! The color hues and shifts will always be so eye-catching and I’ve gotten so many compliments wearing them! 💞

The pigmentation is sooo good but also very smooth and buildable which is what I usually look for in my palettes! 🌸

The ace here is the packaging. Absolutely stunning and ethereal details that makes you feel like a fairy princess while using it. And for the price, the quality and packaging is super fair! 🌷

I highly recommend this product to all the cutesy, demure girlies (and everyone!) who are looking for a good quality product that comes in coquette core packagings that isn’t bank-breaking! 😅💞

Some people may have a problem with this product because it doesn't dry down matte or fully! 
And because it's a balm stick, it may remove some makeup underneath so I would recommend wearing it on a minimal-makeup base skin.

My absolute favorite product is probably Glint's
'Milky Moon' Stick Highlighter! It's perfect for a natural, dewy glow from within that catches your eye everytime! 

I recommend getting this shade over the others because it's a silver dew-like color with purple micro shimmers/glitters!

The texture is like a balm, very smooth, not very tacky or sticky, and glides over your skin like butter!

I would recommend warming up this highlighter with your finger before tapping it into your face because it is a stick formula after all!
