It smells like my dentist office but that was expected.

🙅🏼‍♀️BHT is a potentially carcinogenic ingredient. Oral exposure to BHT was associated with toxic effects in some studies but absorption through skin has been shown to be minimal. It’s been deemed safe to use in cosmetics but just a heads up for those who don’t want to use products with this ingredient.

It wasn’t bothersome on my face but I could smell it for a good while on the backs of my hands… This sunscreen is nothing life-changing tbh.

☀️Missha All Around Safe Block Essence Sun SPF45 Pa+++☀️

Whilst nowadays there’s a general hate towards Asian sunscreens, people question their efficacy, also it doesn’t help that #missha JUST pulled all of their sunscreens off the shelves to reformulate. As far as I can tell, they are not affected by the Purito Sunscreen Scandal™, they’re manufactured by a different company (Cosmecca) and they’ve been reformulating every few years or so.

🙆🏼‍♀️It contains 5 chemical sunscreen filters: Octinoxate, Octisalate, Ensulizole, Uvinul A Plus, Tinosorb S.

The product lives up to the essence name, has a lightweight, creamy texture that sinks into the skin instantly and leaves a dewy finish.

Not the most exciting part of my routine, that&#39;s for sure.

Basic. Cheap. Gets the job done: moisturizes your face. I can use it on my face and my body as well.
If you want something simple then this is perfect.
I use it when I feel like I&#39;ve put on too many actives before in my routine and it works well.

It clouds my vision a bit so I have to be careful around my eyes.

I really like this oil cleanser. Much cheaper than my Asian cleansing oils but gets the job done just the same. It takes my makeup off, doesn&#39;t sting my eyes. It turns into a milkier texture while washed off with water. Leaves no residue.

-Cheap packaging, the serum dries onto the side and flakes off.
-Only good 6 months after opening and there&#39;s no way I can use it up in that timeframe since I can only tolerate so little of niacinamide.
-Gives my cystic acne if I use it too frequently.
-Haven&#39;t noticed the well-known sebum control effect of the nia.

I hated The Ordinary&#39;s Niacinamide and I&#39;ve heard that this has a better texture so I gave it a shot. I can confirm: this has a better texture. Kind of runny but gel-like. I mix 2 drops of this serum once a week into my moisturizer, my skin can&#39;t handle more niacinamide. I break out in cysts if I use it more frequently but this is true to every nia out there.
