Hello All!

I'm new here on picky and wanted to ask you all a question.I want to start using a pure vitamin c that's a higher in percentage. I've been using one that was 15% and that took a while for my skin to get use to.

I want to ask, what's the best way to go about using a pure vitamin C that's 21.5%? Any tips?

I don't know if these specific sunscreens were mentioned recently on here but there are more sunscreens being recalled for containing low levels of benzene. Most of these brands are under the Johnson & Johnson company. I came across this article and I thought I would share it on here. Let me know if you you heard this news as well. 

The sunscreens are:

Aveeno Protect + Refresh aerosol sunscreen, and four Neutrogena sunscreen versions: Beach Defense aerosol sunscreen, CoolDry Sport aerosol sunscreen, Invisible Daily Defense aerosol sunscreen and UltraSheer aerosol sunscreen.

All sunscreens are being recalled in the U.S. and two are being recalled in Canada. 

"Two of the Neutrogena products, the Beach Defense and UltraSheer aerosol sunscreens, have also been recalled in Canada"

I honestly don&#39;t have anything bad to say because its effective and does what it claims.

I really love this product because it&#39;s great for sensitive skin and only has minimal ingredients that are effective. It&#39;s also hydrating enough where it doesn&#39;t dry out your skin as it exfoliates your dead skin cells. It&#39;s lightweight in texture and absorbs really well, you don&#39;t need too much of it because it&#39;s 7% where penetrates deeply into your pores. I would recommend to start slowly and don&#39;t over exfoliate. Also don&#39;t mix it with other acids or vitamin c. You won&#39;t be disappointed in this product you&#39;ll have a radiant smooth skin the next day! It&#39;s my holy grail glycolic acid! 

P.S. Please wear sunscreen!

The price is on the high side. But with all these beneficial ingredients, that could be a factor as to why it&#39;s pricey. Also I do wish that this cream was a bit thicker for my dry skin.

I love that this cream contains many great ingredients like 9 signal peptides, amino acids, and fatty acids. The protini cream has a gel like texture and it&#39;s definitely not as thick of cream I typically go for. I do like how my skin feels soft right after applying it and blends into the skin nicely. It doesn&#39;t have a scent to it and smells like a typical cream. Overall a great moisturizer but I find that it&#39;s not hydrating enough for my dry skin especially during the colder months.

The packaging makes it difficult to get the product out.

I enjoyed using this skin essence since I got it and find it hydrating for the most part. I had to use 5 drops of this skin essence to get the level of moisture that I want even though it has a thick gel-like texture. I do like the frosted glass bottle but the inner plastic part that controls the amount of the product that comes out makes it difficult to get any product. I also like that it is fragrance-free and has a lot of great ingredients in here and leaves my skin feeling soft.

The smell for me personally was a bit overwhelming and does linger for a while after appplication. Sadly, I did not bother to try it again because I know the fragrance in there would upset my skin again.

I love that stretchy snail gel-like texture and lathers up nicely when massaging it onto my face. I also like that my face wasn&#39;t dry after using it.

I don&#39;t have anything negative to say about the mask. But if you&#39;re not use to the smell of mugwort. It will probably take you some time to get use to the herbal smell. I personally don&#39;t mind at all. But again, everyone&#39;s experience is different.

I have been using this Isntree Real Mugwort Clay Mask every other day for about three weeks now and I can say I really enjoy using it so far. Since I have dry skin, I like to apply this mask just on my t-zone and certain spots where it&#39;s irritated. I love that it&#39;s not a drying clay mask and how it softly glides over my skin. After applying it for about 20 mins, I rinse it off and I find it not to be harsh on the skin and it exfoliates my skin nicely.  My skin feels smooth and soft and I can see how it cleans out my pores. Overall, I can say this is a great mask for its price, a little goes a long way and it does what it claims.
