I have dry skin and use tretinoin.i love the feeling of gel creams,  but often find I need to layer them with a heavier cream. 
Do you think gel creams are useful for dry skin? Do you layer your creams or do you prefer using one heavier cream instead??

I really can't say one bad thing about this cream. It melts in beautifully, doesn't pill when used with other brands and products, and feels incredibly soothing on my dry, reactive skin. 

I know I ask this a lot, but how does your barrier arsenal look? Is it stocked? Could it use some improvement?

Ok first, lets talk about this gorgeous texture!! Do you see this little ceramide capsules? I found this super cool, and of course needed to play in them 🤣. This is really such a moisturizing cream. It's wonderful at soothing irritated skin, and keeping my ULTRA dry skin moisturized even through the night. As I've said, I've been dealing with a damaged barrier and some peeling from tret. This cream has been instrumental at helping my skin heal and recover. I really am so grateful for th4 opportunity to try it!

As I mentioned above, I've been dealing with a lot of dry and irritated skin. I had definitely,  and without a doubt, damaged my moisture barrier. I was super happy to receive the shipment from Mixsoon with this duo included. I used these two in the 7 skins method (applying 7 layers of a hydrating toner/ essence to better hydrate dry or dehydrated skin), and slowly, my skin has started to improve! The toner and essence are both super lightweight; also making them perfect for 7 skins.  I love how quickly they absorb into the skin and also how uncomplicated their ingredients lists are. I mean, one ingredient. Can't get much easier, right? These are absolutely perfect to keep in any skincare routine or arsenal!

This is definitely not the first time I've used Honey Halo. It's always been a moisturizer that I know I can count on to rapidly heal my barrier when I've taken things too far. So this time when my skin started acting out, I immediately grabbed this! No time wasted! I had been working in healing my barrier for a about a week before it came and hadnt had much luck. I seriously cannot say enough amazing stuff about Skin1004. I've been using their products, off & on, for almost 4 years. The Soothing Cream is one of my all-time favorite creams. It's super hydrating & moisturizing for the summer. But also has a lightweight feel, so it's not too heavy for the summer heat either. The toner pads and sun milk are both new to me, but trust me, they are being used. The pads are so hydrating & keep my barrier super happy and strong. I've noticed a huge improvement in how soft & smooth my skin is since using them. The spf is one of the only mineral spfs I'll use. It's super lightweight and doesnt lesve that heavy feeling behind. It also doesnt dry out my mature tretinoin skin, & trust me almost all mineral spfs do.
