I just wanna give a huge thank you to the Go Picky team for being so patient with me during a difficult time. 🤩🤩🤩

If you follow me on IG, you know that a few months ago a drunk driver crashed into the side of house at 80mph and destroyed a portion of my house plus an outside shed. My ceilings collapsed in 4 rooms, and we lost half of our belongings. 

We’ve been living in a hotel until insurance issues are settled, which if you know how THAT goes, takes forever. 

Obviously I wasn’t in a good mental place to do reviews, much less deal with social media and of course some of my skincare was inaccessible and/or destroyed. 

But today I posted my last overdue Go Picky review on IG and I’m so relieved! They knew what I was going through and were so supportive. I don’t know when I’ll ever get a new house (and replacement furniture, clothes, wall decor, appliances, bedding, etc) but I’m hoping by November. I’m still stressed out but I’m trying to get through this. 

I’m nice I know SOMETHING I will share the news so please if you can send good vibes, pray, charge yourself chakras, roll some crystals, whatever, cuz I need all the positivity I can right now.

Thank you to Go Picky!

OMG so I turn 45 this year and in the past few years I’ve definitely noticed a change in my skin elasticity. It’s sagging for sure. I really want to get Botox but I want to exhaust all easier options first. Does anyone know a good product that tightens the skin but is afford. My idea of affordable is lower than some people who got wayyyyyggg more money than me so in the $40 range.

First off I’ll say that my opinion of Peeling Gels are pretty low. I’ve personally found them be gimmicky, as they tend to add an ingredient to mimic the effect of dead skin cells balling up. And that’s just kind of bad marketing and makes me not wanna buy from that brand.

But I was pleasantly surprised with this Peeling Gel. I only have one other product from this brand and wish to add more as they are a solid brand, that specializes in mild, EWG safe, clean and vegan ingredients, free of fragrance and color. It’s a popular brand for sensitive and compromised skin concerns.

Promotes soft and healthy peeling. The proteolytic enzymes from the Papaya extract removes skin impurities.

Brights the skin with Scutellaria Baicalensis root extract and Licorice Extract blocks UV rays absorption.

Moisturizing effect from hyaluronic acid, ceramides protect the moisture barrier.  Asiatic pennywort and Tea tree calm the skin.

This gel is very gentle, did not sting or burn my skin, and HONESTLY exfoliated dead skin from my face. I used it several days in a row and it didn’t ball up consistently, so I knew it was legitimate ingredients working, and not added cellulose fibers! I use it a couple times a week to slouch off the dead skin as needed and I’m very pleased with how well it gently works. I can use the heavy duty stinging peels that hurt, but this is a pleasant option for for those with sensitivity. I give this a huge thumbs up, and recommend it for oily skin, and dry scaly skin.

This is a Holy Grail product. But you either love it ir it burns the heck out if your skin. It definitely stings but its worth it. If i dont use it at least once a week my skin gets very bumpy on my forehead. It does make my skin texture 100% better and it helps with  pigmentation. Im on my 4th bottle! This is my ride or die, i will never stop using it!

Soothing and calming gel cream for stressed and sensitive. Lovely scent of the centella and tea tree. Helps with my acne also.

This is the holy grail of fermented essences. Gives you plump, dewy, hydrated skin.

My only complaint is the bottle has no tiny hole dispenser so you risk dropping it and spilling all the product and thats a bad thing when you have nerve damage in your hands

This is the Holy Grail of toners for extremely oily skin. Mine gets very greasy in the humid summers. This strips all that nastiness away, withiut that astringent burn. I would not recommend for very dry skin. But its also very soothing. I love the minty scent and sensation.
