Hi gang! Sooo I have a very reliable pattern of my favorite moisturizers getting discontinued or reformulated, and unfortunately my current favorite just joined the cursed crew and was reformulated to have a bunch of ingredients that my skin hates. 🥲So now I'm looking for new moisturizers to try!

I have very dry and sensitive skin, but it's also prone to clogged pores/closed comedones, so I'm looking for a cream that will fit all or most of these qualities:

1) Thicker texture
2) Non-shiny finish
3) No or minimal essential oils/fragrance
4) Preferably no coconut oil, olive oil, stearic acid or beeswax
5) Preferably not silicone-heavy, since I hate pilling! Some silicone is okay.

(I'll also check the ingredients myself, so if you don't feel like checking the ingredients of your recommendation, just send it! I'll check it out regardless💕) 

If anybody has any recommendations, I'd love to hear them all! Thank you! 🫶

(Right now I'm considering the Goodal Vegan Rice Milk Cream as a possible choice- so if you've tried that, I'd also appreciate your opinion on it!)

Help me find my next moisturizer!

Does anybody else here enjoy reading about personal color analysis? If you don't know about it yet, it's a system that divides people into 1 of 4 seasons, each of which has "subclasses", based on their undertones, chroma, value, etc. The idea is that knowing your personal color will help you choose the makeup and clothing colors that are most flattering on you!
I've noticed a lot of Korean makeup brands have started incorporating it into their shade advertising, which makes it a lot easier for me to choose colors online!

If you know your personal color, what is it and what makeup shades do you like the most on you? 

I'm a soft autumn/autumn mute, and my undertones are neutral leaning very slightly warm, so I can sometimes get away with more summer mute-like colors. My favorite shades I've found on me so far are Peripera's Ink Mood Glowy Tint in "Rose in Mind" and "Warmgorithm", Clinique's Almost Lipstick and Cheek Pop in "Pink Honey", and Benefit's "Dandelion" blush!

When it comes to toners, what kind of texture do you prefer? For my very dry skin, I love a thick viscous toner! I feel like watery toners always leave me unsatisfied, even if I do multiple layers. A watery one is nice for cotton-pad masking though!

What's your skin type and what toner texture works best for you? Which toners do you recommend for people with similar taste? 🫧

I have really dry skin, so I love keeping a wash-off mask in the shower to keep my face moisturized while I wash my hair and body! It's a fun step of my routine and I enjoy switching it up whenever I run out of my current one, so I'm looking for recommendations for a new one to try! I'm especially looking for something that's affordable and non-drying (so preferably no clay masks!)

You can't build up as much volume as I tend to prefer, at least with the Long version. BUT it layers really well with other mascaras, so if you want you can use it with another to get more volume! Like all good waterproof mascaras, it's also difficult to remove, but you'll be fine with a good eye makeup remover or oil cleanser. My cheap Up&Up remover melts it right off!

EDIT: I have since bought the shade L03 Hazel and added a comparison photo! Honestly they don't really look much different, so I don't recommend buying more than one shade. :^) 
 
Wow!!!✨This is a product that actually deserves its high ratings! I have been repurchasing the Heroine Make Long and Curl and Super Waterproof Mascara for over 7 years now. I only recently decided to try some new options because I started experiencing issues with smudging. I'm really glad that I decided to try this one from Romand!! 
I got it in the "Long Black" shade, which is a natural-looking black color. It's not as intense as the HM "Jet Black", but it's dark enough. It has little fibers that extend the length of your lashes. The formula is much drier than what I'm used to, but that makes it very easy to apply without clumping or getting any mess on your skin. The wand is also fantastic- It's very thin with fiber bristles and a slight curve that makes it easy to evenly coat and curl your lashes. If you like natural looking mascara, you'll especially like this formula since it gives your lashes a thin, wispy finish. It held my curl the ENTIRE day, and this is only the second mascara to ever achieve that with my short lashes that naturally point down. The most impressive thing about it to me was that it didn't smudge ONCE. The other day, I even wore it while my face was covered in facial oil, and it still didn't smudge at all. I honestly don't even know how it managed. The price is fantastic too. I really can't recommend this enough- I eventually wanna try the Hazel shade as well!

I am not interested in anything anybody else says, this is the absolute best makeup remover in my opinion. There is no other product that matches how effective it is for the price. I've been repurchasing the double-pack of this product for around 6 years and don't plan on stopping any time soon! I have very dry skin, but for whatever reason, oil cleansers have never meshed well with me. I use this product as a first step in my double-cleanse to remove sunscreen and/or makeup, and then follow up with a foaming cleanser. I use a very waterproof mascara that is notorious for how difficult it is to remove (Heroine Make Long and Curl and Super Waterproof), but soaking a cotton pad in this and holding it to my eye dissolves it so quickly, and causes absolutely no irritation to my skin or eyes. I honestly don't know how it does it. It is oil-free, but it still has an "oily" texture which leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized after washing it off. No matter how much you love your current oil cleanser, makeup wipes, or cleansing balm, I'm telling you that you HAVE to give this one a try. Chances are this will do even better AND save you a lot of money!

The biggest flaw by far with this product is that it contains lavender oil which gives it a very strong scent. Seriously, if you don't like the smell of lavender, AVOID this! As much as I do love the scent, I don't like it in my cosmetics and the scent does linger a bit. Lavender oil has severely irritated my skin in the past, and I do find that this can irritate my skin a little if I use it when my skin is already compromised. It's a huge shame and I really wish they just left that out of the formula. 
Also, compared to a traditional highlight, this one isn't as long-lasting. This may be because I have dry skin, but over time the glow seems to sink in and fade like skincare would, so if you wanted it to last all day you'd probably wanna reapply. If you have oily skin this problem may not apply to you!

This is currently my favorite highlighter for when I use cream/liquid makeup because it gives me EXACTLY what I've been looking for- a TRUE "wet-skin" effect highlight that replicates the glow you get after doing your skincare, but on top of makeup! The stick itself is a transparent blue with sparkles throughout it, but it goes on clear and doesn't leave any visible sparkle on the skin. Unlike other similar "dewy highlights", this one doesn't leave a tacky finish on your skin, so it's very comfortable to wear. I rub my fingers onto the product and then tap it onto the top of my cheekbones and other spots where I want the light to catch! It looks so beautiful and natural and really gives me that "I look pretty!" boost that all makeup should without any hassle.

As much as I enjoy this product, I'm hesitant to repurchase it after running out since the price point is a bit steep for my standards. It's not egregiously expensive, but I wish the cost was a bit more accessible. This product also isn't the most convenient for daytime use if you're in a rush, since it takes quite a while to sink into the skin, even for someone very dry like me. Some may also not be fond of the slimy texture.

One of the marketing claims of this product is its ability to double as a gentle physical exfoliant. It's said that by rubbing the essence into your skin for a while, it will gently remove dead skin and sebaceous filaments. I attempted this method twice, but I don't think it's any better than a typical peeling gel in this regard. You have to rub the product into your skin for a LONG time before it starts to pill up, which is a bit irritating. My skin did feel softer after, but I think that was just a result of the essence moisturizing it. I think it's mostly just a marketing gimmick, and wouldn't recommend using it this way- I much prefer using it as a typical essence!

I had been curious about this product for some time, but I never ended up buying it due to the somewhat-steep price as well as concerns over fermented ingredients. In the past, fermented products have tended to cause breakouts on my sensitive skin, and I worried that this essence would be no different- after all, the ingredients list is nothing but ferments! 
I'm very grateful that Picky gave me the chance to try this product, because as it turns out, this is the first fermented product to not break out my skin! I later found out that the official website claims this essence to be safe for fungal acne, and in my experience, that claim is true!

This essence has a thick and slimy texture that anybody who's used snail mucin products will be familiar with. For those like me who like this texture but whose skin doesn't tolerate snail mucin, this is a great alternative! It's very hydrating- I have very dry skin, and I've noticed that when using this product my skin remains comfortably moisturized for longer than usual. It's fragrance-free and causes me no irritation. I've seen this product recommended for "glass skin", and I'd have to agree. It forms a sort of "layer" over the skin that makes it appear plump and smooth.

I've been using this essence twice daily for a little over two weeks now and I've noticed improvement! My skin's texture has reduced slightly, the tone is more even, and it appears more healthy overall. I feel like I'm finally getting to experience the positive results of fermented ingredients without the side effects of breakouts and irritation!

I really recommend this essence to anyone interested in trying it out- especially if you have sensitive skin and usually can't use fermented products!

This can sometimes make mascara apply a bit more clumpy, especially if you let it dry beforehand. Also, if you apply this product on top of your mascara for additional smudge protection, the slight white tint can make your mascara look a bit less black.

I picked up this product because I started have issues with my favorite mascara smudging on me, and I read that this primer helped to reduce that. It definitely did help, but I was surprised to find out that that wasn't the only thing this product helps with! The primer has a light gel texture that applies slightly white, but it's not opaque like the Lancome mascara primer. I curl my lashes and then apply this primer right before applying my mascara. This product helps so much with holding curl, seperating, adding length to my mascara, and reducing smudging! I attached photos of the same eye with my mascara alone vs. with this primer (sorry the quality is so much worse on the primer one, my new phone can't take closeups nearly as well. 🥲)
I feel like you can tell that the side with this primer is much more neatly shaped, and longer too! I can't recommend this product enough, especially if you're looking for help with holding a curl or reducing smudging with your mascara.
