What are some of your favorite products to use during summer? Or if you are like me and live in a place where it's warm and humid all year-round, what are your go to products? One of my faves is the rovectin lotus water cream, so light and perfect for the hot days. 😉☀️

I'm curious to know if you've purchased a skincare product very impulsively only to realize after that you didn't really need it? This to me happened with The Ordinary's AHA 30% + BHA 2% peeling solution. It was around the time I had first started getting a real interest on skincare and I wanted to get something and I got it. After that, I started looking at reviews and I saw it was for seasoned chemical exfoliant users and I got so scared to try it. I patch tested and I used I and ended up loving it. It's still one of my faves.
I did learn that I have to think a bit more before just picking up any product because this could've gone wrong. Luckily for me, my skin is not sensitive at all. 😅

Hello! I've been meaning to start my retinoid journey, I'm very interested on its well-aging benefits. However, I do know that there are some side effects that come with the whole retinization process. 😔
I've been wanting to try it for a year now but I just can't get pass my fear. I would like to know what was your approach to this ingredient? What are some good products for beginners?

How to approach retinoids?

🍃 i don’t think that there’s anything that i don’t like about the skin activating solution. however, i would like to point out that this is not the most hydrating product out there. nothing else other than that.

this product was gifted to me as part of picky and elmt’s special winner giveaway. after some time of use, i feel confident talking about it.
🍃 𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚛𝚎𝚍𝚒𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚜: the main ingredients are green tea and chinese skullcap. the solution also includes antioxidants, which is great to keep your skin strong and balanced. (complete ingredient list on 2nd picture) 
🍃 𝚝𝚎𝚡𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚎: it is watery and runny. it absorbs so quickly and my skin just drinks this up. it is perfect if you like to layer your toners before the serum step. i would consider this a hydrating toner. in my personal experience this was also refreshing and soothing. i would highly recommend this if you live on a hot and humid climate.
🍃 𝚝𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚜:  the skin activating solution is a great product you can add to your routine if you are looking to strengthen your skin and target your breakouts. i have noticed that my skin looks healthier and glowy, the kind of glow that just comes from within. i would highly suggest that you try this product if you are prone to breakouts. for me, this has helped me reduce the amount of pimples that i get here and there. i don’t think i’ve seen one for at least a week, lol.
🍃 𝚙𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚊𝚐𝚒𝚗𝚐: i think that part of the experience of using a product is being pleased with even how it looks. the presentation of the skin activating solution is elegant and simple. so aesthetically pleasing! it just looks beautiful sitting on my vanity.
my overall experience with this product has been very positive. i&#39;m looking forward to more elmt releases in the future!

To be honest, even though I like the texture I can see why some people could have trouble with it.

This is my favorite I&#39;m from product. At first I thought it&#39;d be a very sticky and unpleasant but I was wrong! I love the texture and smell of this. I use this after I exfoliate to help replenish my skin and this leaves my skin feeling so smooth and glowy. I will continue to repurchase ✨💜

As this is an amazing product, I consider the size of it a problem. I wish it was bigger, even though this is a very standard size for a toner. I need a 400&#47;500 ml version. Also, this made my boyfriend skin sting while he had some concerns with his moisture barrier, so I would be careful with that.

🌾 The I&#39;m From Rice Toner is my absolute favorite toner, ever! I wanted to try this after seeing a lot of reviews.
🌾 I find that rice, as an ingredient in skincare products, is amazing. Seeing this paired with some other ingredients caught my attention and I decided to purchase it during Black Friday on Wishtrend.
🌾 This product is just pure hydration, its main ingredients are rice extract (77.78%) and niacinamide. 
🌾The formula is very light, watery and runny, it absorbs nicely into the skin. It&#39;s pretty buildable too. I used to put up to 3 layers of this.
🌾 As for the benefits, this was so hydrating, I felt an immediate change even after using it for the first time. With continuous use, I did see improvement on my hyperpigmentation and overall the health of my skin. This helped my skin become plumplier and fuller. I loved this.
🌾 I highly recommend this if you are interested on a hydrating toner that does not feel heavy on the skin.

This amazing formula should come on a bigger bottle! I don&#39;t like the size, I wish this would include a pump.

This is my absolute favorite sunscreen. When I saw this and I realized it was alcohol-free, essential oil-free AND waterproof I said &quot;I need to try this&quot; I was not disappointed, this formula is so lightweight and leaves absolutely no white cast and it doesn&#39;t sting my eyes. This has amazing filters to keep you protected from uva + uvb rays. A great product for people with sensitive skin.

The pump. 😰 I feel like it dispenses way too much product! With half a pump is enough, if you press it all the way you get too much and can get through it very quickly.

My current go-to cleanser. This is very gentle and gets the job done.
💧 Hydrating sensation after you wash it off.
💧 No tight feeling.
💧 Amazing extracts included.
💧 The hyaluronic acid in this makes it *chef kiss*
Overall an amazing product that I like to keep around.
