Is Glow Recipe a good brand? Yes/No- Why?

Very fragrant. Some people may not like that.

This is a lightweight serum that adds a lot of shine and softness to the hair. Formulated with a blend of nourishing oils, It has a citrusy floral scent that lingers throughout the day. I have shoulder length hair with oily roots and dry ends, so I focus on applying the serum to the mid lengths - ends only. I like to apply it before & after blow drying. I start with a small amount and add more as needed. I use and love! a lot of hair serums—and this one performs just as well as my all time favorites! 

Formulated with a blend of 7 beneficial oils: argan, olive, coconut, apricot, marula, jojoba, and camellia. 

The pink and blue bottle reminds me of kid’s sunblock, so I think this brand could do better with that. Also the scent is very soapy which some people may not like. 

The consistency is thick and tacky and it smooths into a creamy cleanser when you add water. It will leave your skin feeling squeaky clean, so it is probably best for those who have combination or oily skin. The pink hue comes from calamine, there is no artificial pigment added. All in all, I’ll keep using it since it works well and does not irritate my skin.

It is expensive compared to other cleansing balms on the market. 

My experience using this cleansing balm has been positive. It removes makeup in a gentle way, soothes and protects your skin barrier, and is easy to use. The tiny spatula helps you use the right amount every time, so there’s no putting your fingers in the jar and possibly contaminating the product. You massage the cleansing balm into to dry skin and rinse with warm water. All my makeup comes off with ease and it leaves my skin soft and clean and not stripped dry. 


It is a luxury product that comes with a higher price tag. 

I’m always excited to try a new anti-aging serum! The Sooryehan Black Serum did not disappoint. This product features some very intriguing anti-aging ingredients such as black exosome, black yeast, and black licorice extract. The consistency is slightly watery, and it soaks into the skin quickly leaving a clean, smooth feel. There’s no icky residue. I love how radiant it makes my skin look.  After it dries, I like to follow up with a lightweight oil-free moisturizer.

Hydrating and soothing ingredients for sensitive skin. I use it like a serum. It has a wonderful lightweight feel to it. Smooth and non-tacky finish once it dries down.
