It is absolutely light on the skin and does not feel piercing at all even if I mist my face from a close distance. The scent isn't the best I have encountered (it reminds me of pepper) but it disperses quickly and doesn't bother me. I also enjoy using it as toner these days to help soothe irritation after cleansing my face at night. With the lightweight formula, it is really comfortable and suitable for layering too. It feels hydrating, and leaves no greasy or sticky feeling on my skin.

I found that there is a downside of the flip-type packaging. Since there are a lot of watery essence inside, it will drip out easily from the slit and make the tub become sticky. A small tweezer is provided, but it can’t fix inside its place and always fall down. The pad is small and not that soft but is fully soaked with essence. I always use this toner pad as quick masking at night, I normally need 5 pads for my face and leave on for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes the pad is still moist so I will wipe over my skin. True to it&#39;s name, this is a water gel that feels so light and refreshing on the skin. The moment I glide this over my face, I can feel the burst of hydration and an instant cooling sensation. It is very comfortable and light weight, leaving a breathable hydrating film on my skin. Visibly, there is no shiny greasy appearance upon full absorption. Aside from the star ingredient of vitamin tree &#47; sea buckthorn, it also contains niacinamide, which is a great multi tasking ingredient. Making this an ideal gel for hydration and subtle brightening. There was also no noticeable fragrance, the gel just smells like a generic product smell. Since this is a light weight gel, layering with other skincare products is easy. I didn&#39;t notice any pilling with different combination of products.

This beautiful blue cream is everything I had hoped it would be! Let me just start off by saying I have a disease called lupus, which is an autoimmune disease that makes my body mistakenly attack my organs, tissues, blood cells and skin. That means that my face skin gets inflamed and irritated a lot, especially by the Sun and fluorescent lighting(even if it's only 5-10 minutes). I have become a huge fan and believer in the benefits of Azulene for skin, as it has been one of the few ingredients that really works to calm and soothe my skin. It is intended more for a spot treatment than a full on moisturizer, but I typically use it on around 1&#47;2 of my face where it flares up at. It has a rich consistency with a smooth, silky texture and absorbs beautifully into the skin. Highly, highly recommend this. It's a life(skin) saver to have in your stash when you need it.

My general observation with non- or barely foaming cleanser like this is I may tend to use more than the amount necessary because I feel like I’m not adequately covering my entire face with the product compared to when using cleanser that foams up or has soapy texture. For that reason I may have used it up sooner than other cleansers I had before. I think it would fare best for morning use. If for end-of-day when all the accummulated oil, sweat and gunk have to be removed, opt to double cleanse.

It’s a simple moisturizer that is lightweight and provides just the right amount of hydration for my sensitive combo skin. I really like that it’s not greasy and could be worn comfortably even during humid days. I also like that I could use it as a base for my makeup❤️ It makes my makeup application seamless and helps remove those dry patch areas I have on my cheeks. I think people with sensitive, oily or combo skin types would enjoy it because it’s fragrance-free, gentle and lightweight. However, for dry skin types, it might be too lightweight but could still work if paired with other hydrating products.
