Inexpensive vs Expensive Brands

I think everyone has different definitions of what is expensive and inexpensive. I’ve seen some people ask for affordable brands and get recommended Paulas Choice 😬 which to me PC is totally more on the expensive side but I know they’re a total cult favorite and obviously not everyone finds them expensive. I also know Glow Recipe, Peter Thomas Roth, Tatcha, all way out of my budget, and I’ve heard loads of people say they’re had better or they’re nothing special that they can’t get some a different brand at a cheaper price. My budget is slowly creeping up but I don’t think I could ever convince myself something out of my budget is an absolute must have and there’s no other product that can do what it does.

Some of my most effective products are inexpensive. And I've bought expensive products I never ended up finishing because they damaged my skin. I think it's a gamble in a way. Expensive definitely doesn't mean effective and vice versa. BTW I love both YTTP and The Inkey List too 😍

I think not all expensive brands are quality formulas or products. Sometimes all you’re paying for is the “name”. I’m quite happy to fork out the money if the product works, but if not then I’d rather stick to the ones that won’t break the bank 👍🏻

Mostly no. I only buy affordable skincare and I’m happy with it... BUT you can pry my PC BHA out of my cold, dead hands 💰🥰💛

I love Murad gel moisturizer. LOVEEEEE But I would never pay full price. there are some moisturizers that are amazing too. What I do is that I take advantage of sales like 21 days in ulta at 50% discount.
