So I bought a this. .It works very well. For me it was the constancy. But I think that's the power behind the magic.

Pure lanolin blend. Excellent for chapped, dry skin. Only need to apply the tiniest amount as balm turns into oil upon application. Spreads like butter. It's really lovely. I'm just not sure it's any better than standard Vaseline.
