Face Day Wear Moisturiser Matte Invisible Spf 50+

product review positives
This is a really great sunscreen for daily use which I know I can trust, since it is from Australia which has very strict regulations on sunscreen. 💧Texture: This dispenses as a slightly runny cream, with a slight pinkish hue to it. It is rather lightweight and does not leave my skin feeling very clogged, even though I have oily skin and live somewhere hot and humid. 🖐🏻Application: It spreads and sinks easily into my skin, and dries down to a slightly matte finish. I will say that it does not dry down super matte, like other sunscreens (eg the Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish), as it still leaves a slightly dewy look behind. ☀️Filters: I really appreciate that they include the exact filters and their percentage levels on the back. This contains 3% Octocrylene, 3% Avobenzone, 2% Enzacamene, and 2% Uvinul T 150. This is thus a 100% chemical sunscreen. 💨Performance: As mentioned before, this sinks in easily into my skin, and does not leave me feeling too oily. It can be used on a daily basis. It also does not leave a white cast on me, which is great.
product review negatives
This does make my eyes sting, especially after I reapply it throughout the day. This is probably due to the presence of octocrylene in the sunscreen. This also has a slightly unpleasant smell that I find hard to describe. It smells kind of medicinal but also very artificial. The dispenser is also not the best, as the hole is quite large and I can accidentally squeeze out a lot of product at one go. This means that I can’t do the 3 finger method which I usually do with other sunscreens as it will leak over my fingers.
