It has a slight white tint that gives that toned up look. In my experience it is a good makeup base, helps my skin hydrate before putting on my primer and bb cream or foundation. My makeup lasted even though my room is not air-conditioned. And it helped not too make my makeup cakey. And of course, my pores aren't so clogged afterwards because of the added protection.
