Retinol Cica Repair Ampoule
“A moisturising ampoule that fights spots and blemishes, and evens the skin tone thanks to its formulation with retinol and cica in its ingredients. It also includes green tea to help with redness and Jeju Cica Liposomlogy™ to reduce skin irritation and blemishes while also moisturising the skin.”

The non-adhesive box packaging is made out of 100% recycled paper. And the opaque bottle is made out of 60% recycled glass. The bottle looks luxurious, it feels heavy and there’s no plastic lid.
I love how moist and light the ampoule feels on my skin. The formula is very light and a bit watery, kind of like a milky toner. And it has a slight light-yellow colour to it. It’s not really hydrating but also not drying. I just made sure to follow up with an occlusive moisturiser afterwards.
I think this a great product for beginners that want to dip their toes into using retinol products. Even those with sensitive skin. I have used retinol before, but I’m still a beginner as I have only started using it a few months ago. This ampoule is comfortable to use because the percentage of retinol is low and it’s fragrance-free. It didn’t break me out and I experienced no irritation at all.
Apparently, you can also use it in the morning (make sure to use sunscreen afterwards!) but I didn’t do that.
Would give it a 4.5/5 rating (but thats not an option on picky).
If you’re already familiar with retinol, this product probably won’t do much for you. Also, it is quite pricey. But they have two formats (30ml and 50ml) so you can choose which one fits your budget more.
