Natje9999 review for Matte Lipstick

M.A.C. Retro Matte Lipstick ❤️ Hi Picky's, A few months back, I bought myself my very first M.A.C. Lipstick (yes, my very first, I'm in my late thirties, even going to 40 now, can you imagine?! 😉😁) and I just realised that, while I was really happy with my purchase (I litterally ask myself every day: "Why didn't I bought it before?" 😉😁), I haven't reviewed it yet, so here we go! 😉 This will be my first make up review on Picky by the way, I'm so excited that they finally added the make up category! 😁 I was looking for a classic colour, something with a dash of retro vibes, in the line of classic red or feminine pink. I went for shade 706: Relentlessly Red, which is a gorgeous, bright coral tinted shade with a cool undertone. With my light, red undertoned skintone, darkblonde hair and green eyes, shades like that are always a good match for me. Obviously, everyone knows M.A.C. has some of the best lipsticks ever. Their lipsticks are legendary and earned the brand a cult status, which they absolutely deserve! What a gorgeous colour! What a great result! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠: The lipstick arrives in the typical and very recognizable black, sleek looking tube. It looks classy and I like it! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭: The Relentlessly Red Retro Matte Lipstick has that typical Vanilla like scent, like most of M.A.C. Lipsticks have. It absolutely smells amazing! 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭: The lipstick glides over my lips effortlessly and has a nice, longlasting matte finish. Many matte lipsticks aren't moisturizing enough and make my lips feel dry while wearing lipstick. However, this one still is suprisingly moisturizing and hydrating and doesn't make my lips feel dry at all. It almost feels like butter, so smooth, soft and nourishing! My lips feel soft and smooth after application and the texture feels comfortable while wearing it. The lipstick doesn't stain, doesn't transfer and last for several hours, without the need to re-apply again, even when eating or drinking. I wear it together with the M.A.C. Lip Pencil in the shade Cherry and it makes the perfect combo. 𝐌𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧: I'm very happy with the high quality formula, the colour, the result and how it looks and feels on my lips, how longlasting it is and the amazing Vanilla scent. And I absolutely love the very recognizable, sleek and nice looking black tube it comes in! Highy recommended!
