Huda Beauty - Celestinehathor review for Empowered Eyeshadow Palette

Best palette yet? Huda, are you sure? 🤔 So, the "Empowered" palette by Huda Beauty: ⭐ 18 shades, 16,8 g., $67, made in Italy. ⭐ The mattes are just ok, pretty much on par with mattes from "Rose quartz" - a bit less creamy than her previous releases (e.g. "Mercury Retrograde" and "Naughty nude"). All Huda's mattes are not the most pigmented, but suuuper blendable and totally user friendly. Brand calls them "intensely pigmented", but I disagree. The pigment is there, but it's by no means "intense". These mattes are also not the most buildable, but they're super easy to blend. Three warmer mattes are SO similar, I just can't. Like why, Huda?! The orangey ones are probably the best performance wise, cooler tones are just ok and the darkest one is the worst - not dark enough on the eyes + uneasy to build. ⭐ There are three super bright shimmers, but they're not duochromes + two golds look pretty much identical on the eyes. Three remaining shimmers are less bright - one satin, one metallic and one (dark one) is something in between. And the last three "non-mattes" are gels. I divided them into groups: • Bright foils: "Limitless" (nice one), "Charisma" (the worst - sheer with LOTS of fallout), "Bold moves" (the best - smooth, shiny and quite uniquе). • Metallic "Do it!" - nothing special + creases. • Sаtins: "Corageous" (slightly duochrome, but it's undetectable on the eyes) and "Visionary" (pretty, but the mattes don't let it shine). ⭐ Gels: • "Manifest it!" - a semi-transparant gel shade, that has some pigment to it, but it's useless - creases within an hour (by itself and with anything on top). • Gel liners - not bad, but pretty much useless for me because of their longevity. They don't disappear, but transfer onto the lover lid + make any other shades crease within 4-5 hours. Setting them with powder shadows doesn't really help 🤷‍♀️
