I started with once a day , and after a few days applied twice a day . It goes on smoothly and doesnt effect makeup you may want to apply after . I personally didnt have any issues with irritation or dryness , but I do use retinol’s frequently . For reference I am a young 44.5 year old and after useing this I have notice some real improvement on my forehead and jawline .
