Voluntesting review for Vitamin C24 Surprise Serum

✨TIAM Vitamin C 24 Surprise Serum✨ 🔹22% pure vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 🔹2% vitamin C derivative (Ethyl Ascorbyl Ether) 🔹Ferulic Acid (antioxidant) What an interesting formula! This is completely water-free and tocopherol is a main ingredient, so the texture is more on the oily side – I love using vitamin C morning and night and while I have been testing this twice a day, I’d prefer to use this only at night based on the texture alone. That said, this is a wonderful serum! There’s virtually no scent and it spreads so nicely when rubbing it into the skin. It isn’t sticky but it does have an oily feeling and takes some time to fully soak in. I didn’t experience any irritation at all and found this to be quite gentle. One issue – I don’t know if a dropper bottle is the most practical packaging for this. Given the texture, it immediately starts dripping from the sides and inside of the dropper as soon as you take it out of the bottle, which can be messy. A major point in its favour – the PAO on this product is 12 months which is higher than I tend to see with other, less stable vitamin C. This is because of the lack of water that keeps the active ingredient from degrading so quickly. I love that this is called Surprise Serum because it was a very happy surprise for my skin.
