Not Your Mother's - DoniaG review for Defining Curl Talk Cream

This is a good cream but it’s not as moisturising as a mask. I think they describe it perfectly. It’s good for defining your curls as a last step but I don’t find this cream to be good enough for detangling or moisturising enough because it doesn’t have that slip to it. It’s in the middle in terms of thickness and consistently and I like that it doesn’t have a strong smell like a lot of curl creams do. This is also very reasonably priced, I think it’s $8-9 CAD! I like that the brand is cruelty free, alcohol, gluten and silicone free as well. It’s also nice that they advertise that this cream is made with rice curl complex and the rice extract is on the third line of ingredients. I would say it’s not the hugest concentration but it’s also not false advertising. Overall, it’s decent, I will finish the bottle but I’m not sure if I will repurchase
