Melting Balm Cleanser

@byoma melting balm cleanser review đ
đ the first thing i need to tell you: this cleansing balm is thickkkk. i really wasnât expecting the texture to be so heavy, but iâm used to it now and donât mind at all. it does spread and melt a little more easily than i thought it would based on the feeling of it on my skin, and it emulsifies beautifully. iâm very pleased with how nicely it washes off - my skin also feels soft and clean after use. itâs unscented too and helps boost a healthy skin barrier - i was really keen to try this cleanser for exactly this reason. @byomaâs mission statement is healthy skin, and i feel that this cleanser is a really nice addition to their lineup.

đ the one thing i feel this cleanser is missing is a deep-cleansing agent - i like to use my balms/oils to do oil pulling 1-2 times a week, and this one just doesnât perform to the level i like in that category. while itâs effective for removing makeup and spf and doesnât dry my skin, i havenât noticed a positive difference with pore cleansing or removal of sebaceous filaments. other than that i do like it, so if you donât struggle with sebum buildup then i think this balm cleanser is worth a try!
đ the packaging is quite bulky - those with limited countertop space beware. thereâs a lot of excess plastic in the container exterior, as the actual pot filled with product is a tube shape inside. i do really like the screw-on lid in this container shape though, itâs really satisfying to close. and like all byomaâs products, it does look cute on the counter despite the size
