This antioxidant rich, lightly foaming cleanser has glycerin in it to provide a great cleanse without drying out your skin!
I am always a little apprehensive of the words "deep clean" and the absolutely ridiculous amount of fragrance that is typically in Laneige products, but I decided to give this one a go and hope my sensitive skin wouldn't freak out when I recieved a sample size. As I expected, it has a fresh citrus scent, but it's not actually too strong and overwhelming, nor did it freak out my skin. It doesn't foam a lot, but enough that you can use very little and cover your entire face. The result is a clean and very smooth face, that doesn't feel dry or tight, even after waiting a long time to complete your routine. After a few days of using it I had no bad reactions, and it seems like a lovely hydrating cleanser.
Cost: $8 CAD per 30ml, $25-30 CAD per 150ml
Besides antioxidant rich berry extracts and glycerin there's not really any impressive ingredients. It's all well and good to have a very simple cleanser that does what it's meant to, but if you're looking for something innovative this is not your cleanser.
It has fragrance and a lot of natural extracts, which can be irritating. Since it's a wash off product it's less likely to give you a bad reaction, but if you're particularly sensitive I would move on to a different cleanser.
Laneige in general is quite expensive, and I personally would expect innovation and active ingredients for that kind of price point, which this cleanser doesn't have.
