Perfect Hair Day Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo
I recently bought this dry shampoo about a month ago and have used it 3 times since on extremely oily hair.
- As someone who washes her hair once a week, my hair gets oily by day 5 &6. Up until now, I’ve been using some drugstore dry shampoos, which were good but always left me hair feeling heavy.
- After 3 seperate uses, I would say this is a good reliable dry shampoo, but I am still looking for better.
- The packaging is minimalistic, but the dispenser at the top works well. It does release a lot of product at one, so I try to be careful wih that. The bottle is also a little small, but I havnt compared the amount of product inside to other brands.
- The dry shampoo itself will give you a white cast initially, make sure you’re spraying it a few inches away from your hair. I let it sit in my hair for a minute or so, and then I shake my hair gently around my scalp and the white cast is gone.
- In terms of the cleanliness, my hair does feel a lot less greasy and it still feels light. I can run my fingers through it and not feel like I put product in it earlier. But I do find that it removes the oily feeling for about 2 days and then my hair starts to feel oily again.
- The main pros are: 1. I have black hair and it doesn’t leave any white powder look after. 2. It doesn’t feel heavy in the hair after using.
- personally I think this is too expensive for a dry shampoo. I will use up the bottle, but I’m not sure if I can keep justifying spending $45 + tax on this.
- I do find that my hair gets oily looking again after 2-3 days, and then will have to wash my hair ( I personally don’t like to apply dr my shampoo to ymvshit twice)
- I tried blowdrying my hair after applying this to see if it would make my hair feel fresher, but I didn’t see any difference
