The texture is thick liquid but it becomes watery and runny when applied to the skin. The spreadability is good because there is a slippery sensation when I dab the skin. It takes a while to fully absorb, so you have to dab on her face for a while. The finish is glowy. Really, my skin feels wet and full of hydration. There is a bit of a tacky feeling but when layered with the next step it'll disappears. It has a strong rose scent but doesn't make the nose wince. Still very comfortable to sniff. After several times of trial and error I finally found that this product is comfortable to use in essence slot; after a watery hydrating toner and before serum. I've also used it in hydrating toner step and it's quite moist for me, plus it can still be layered with serums afterwards. For skipcare, I used this product in the toner step and then I overwritten it with a thick creamy moisturizer. The result? It still feels quite moisturizing. I feel the humectant effect is the most dominant. I feel that my skin doesn't feel dry or oily easily. This product provides hydration that feels really good. Yesterday when my skin got drier, besides I added a hydrating / soothing serum, I always use this on my AM and PM routines. I feel like it helps my skin return to its normal state. For acne prone skin, this product can also calm the acne, although it's not that obvious when compared to the hydration effect.
