The texture is a gel cream which is quite thick with a slight scent but doesn't bother me. When applied to the skin it doesn't feel heavy, sticky or greasy. For dry skin this is a good choice. I like the finish which moisturizes the skin and when worn gives a smooth feeling on the skin. It takes a while to sink into the skin but that's not a problem with great results.If it is covered in sunscreen it will not make the sunscreen peel off.
