It has a slight smell of glue, I’ve read that this is common in skincare with galactomyces but I’m not sure, have you noticed this in any of your products with this ingredient? Although I noticed it for the first couple of days, I forgot about it soon enough, it’s not a horrible smell and it disappears when you apply the toner to your skin

This is the first toner that I purchased and I don’t think I can do my skincare routine without one now. I apply the product by pouring it into my hand rather than using a cotton pad and then pat it into my skin gently. I use this twice a day, it is light enough to apply in the morning under my sunscreen and serum as it doesn’t pill and is also light enough to layer on in the evening; The toner is thick enough so I know it’s there but not so thick that it makes my skin greasy. I have noticed a huge difference in my complexion since using this toner, my skin looks so much brighter and radiant and my breakouts have also reduced. The product claims to ‘help restore the elasticity of fatigued skin while diminishing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines’ but I don’t have any wrinkles or fine lines so can’t comment on this. However, I did notice my hyperpigmentation fading after using this product for around a month which was a nice surprise. It is a gentle formula that always feels soothing to apply, immediately hydrating and calming my skin. It is absolutely wonderful and makes my skin so incredibly SOFT!😊 

I would have given 5 stars but this oil does not absorb into the skin, it just sits on it so can be very uncomfortable. To combat this I just use 3 drops but even then I’m sure there are better formulations out there. This is why I only use this oil when my skin needs it otherwise there would be grease all over my pillow

I’m currently on my 3rd bottle of this stuff, my hair can never go without it but my face, that’s a different story. I can’t lie this oil has been a lifesaver for me – a while ago I got a cluster of small breakouts around my mouth, chin and jawline area after a reaction to threading my face. The thing that healed my breakouts practically overnight was a gentle bha followed by this squalane oil. I slathered on this oil 3 nights in a row and my skin was completely healed! This oil is compatible with oily skin, for those with acne, even fungal acne like myself. It’s also worked wonders for my hair, I apply it on the ends only on wet hair before blow-drying and always notice instant shine and softness until my next wash. 

If you need your cleanser to foam up and bubble a lot then this one won’t be for you as it only bubbles a little but I don’t mind that as it is still very easy to glide it over your face seamlessly 

Hydrating, gentle yet effective, non-stripping, cheap!!! I love it  🤩🤩
- A mineral-packed face wash designed to revive and freshen up dry, sensitive or dehydrated skin 

- Uses mild surfactant Cocamidopropyl Betaine which is super common in all kinds of cleansing products

I have gone through over 4 bottles of this cleanser; it is the best cleanser ever!! It is gentle enough to use for a morning cleanse, even for those with dry skin. On days I have been too lazy to oil cleanse I have just double-cleansed with this cleanser and my heavy greasy sunscreen has fully been removed and my skin still feels moisturised and looks a little brighter. Although this cleanser is designed for dry, dehydrated skin I think it will still work great for oilier skin types as mine tends to get very oily in the summer. This face wash helps decongest my skin and keep it feeling balanced and refreshed.  The cleanser works well even if my skin is irritated or extra sensitive. It is simply amazing ! 😊 
 


The serum is way too tacky for my liking. It is a little thicker than other serums I’ve used and doesn’t absorb into the skin, it just sits on top and forms a tacky layer – it doesn’t cause my sunscreen or moisturiser to pill but it is unpleasant regardless. I was hoping the vitamin c would at least do something for my hyperpigmentation but it seems to have had no effect – my galactomyces toner did a better job for lightening my dark spots. I just forced myself to use the serum for the antioxidant protection but will not be repurchasing ☹ 

Good option but not great… 🤔🥴😓
 
Claim – ‘’A brightening serum with a stabilized vitamin C derivative’’ 
 
- Rather than using pure L-ascorbic acid, this serum uses a water-soluble derivative ascorbyl glucoside which ‘boots collagen, provides antioxidant protection and fades hyperpigmentation’ – it is considered one of the best options for vitamin c derivatives  
- Supplied in uv-protective packaging 
- Simple ingredient list - no drying alcohols or fragrance  
 
- Price: £8.90 for 30ml (PAO of 6 months) 
UK – DECIEM website, sold in Boots etc. 
- Texture: slightly thick and tacky formula, can be used AM and PM 
 
My opinion: 2/5 (1 star for the stability, another for the price) 
It’s so difficult to buy an affordable vitamin c serum which is why I ended up buying this serum twice but that doesn’t mean it’s pleasant. Yes, it is affordable and yes it contains a good % and derivative of vitamin c but I don’t think I will be buying it again. However, this is definitely a stable formula as vitamin c is usually prone to oxidation; the product has a PAO date of 6 months after which I noticed the serum is still clear in colour which is great as it shows the formula probably didn’t oxidise but I still discontinue use after the PAO. 

- Unfortunately, I was not impressed with this sunscreen as it gave me a white cast so I will have to use it on my body instead
- Contains fragrance and linalool 
- The sunscreen contains retinol very low on the ingredient list which I personally was a little confused about since retinol is not what I look for in my sunscreens. I think if you want to use retinol it would be better to use a retinol serum or retinol moisturiser
- The product is only 40g which is a little too small for a sunscreen in my opinion

I received this product for free from Picky and SOME BY MI in exchange for my honest review.

- Sunscreen filters contained included Uvinal A plus (provides high UVA protection), Tinosorb S (provides broad spectrum protection), Uvinal T 150 (highly stable UVB filter)
- Also contains other great ingredients such as niacinamide, panthenol, sodium hyaluronate, glycerin and adenosine
- The bottle packaging is quite unique and only dispenses a little bit of product at once so it doesn't go to waste
- The sunscreen contains alcohol quite high on the ingredient list (I personally don't mind alcohol in my sunscreen)
