how do I keep my skin hydrated throughout the day?? After my skincare routine in the morning, I notice that my skin (mostly my cheeks) get really dry after like 5 hours or so. is there a way I can prevent this from happening?? I've been thinking a product like mists will be effective for this

💟𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏
The packaging was minimal and basic which I love because products with luxurious packages tend to cost more. I thought they were tinier than I expected but they looked very cute. The one product that caught my eye was the jojoba oil mainly because of the color. I love color in skincare so much 


💛𝙅𝙤𝙟𝙤𝙗𝙖 𝙤𝙞𝙡💛
The only thing I liked about this product was the color (just kidding lmao). This product is my favorite out of the three, not only because of the color (lol) but also because of how it works. When I heard of oil, I thought it was going to be greasy but it was the opposite. I have never used any oils on my skin before this so I thought it was a very nice introduction to oils in skincare. The product claims to relieves dryness and balance out oily skin which is exactly what it did. It has a high viscosity and it absorbs really fast. It does not smell like anything and it makes the face glow 


💥𝑴𝒚 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆
Since I have combination skin, my t-zone has always been oiler than other parts of my skin. I thought this product was amazing for me since it helps to balance out oily skin. I used it at night because I thought it was going to block my sunscreen from absorbing in the morning. 2-3 drops are enough for my whole skin and it leaves my skin glowy and hydrated. I also combine it with the hyaluronic acid serum for extra hydration; using the hyaluronic acid before the jojoba oil allows it to absorb since the oil can prevent it from absorbing. The first time I applied this product, I noticed that the tiny pimples on my forehead (caused by too much sebum) reduced significantly so it is definitely part of my holy grails. 

💗 𝗛𝘆𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗱 💗
	I think we all know what this amazing acid does for the skin so I won’t say much on the benefits. The potions claimed that it gathers and retains moisture in the skin, reducing the effects of external stress factors and that it creates a thin and transparent moisturizing membrane that prevents moisture from evaporating. AND THEY WERE RIGHT! 

💥 𝑴𝒚 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆
The hyaluronic acid from the potions was my first experience with the acid and it was as amazing as people say. My c-zone is extremely dry so it helped alleviate the flakyness by preventing the little moisture I have in my skin go away. It is not as viscous as the jojoba oils but it is also very viscous. Applying this product on my skin was very easy and satisfying as it is very slimy and absorbs pretty fast. There was 0 friction between my skin and the product when I was applying which is what I love about water-based products. It does not have a smell either. Adding this to my routine was extremely beneficial as it helped to retain moisture. 


💕𝗣𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗱𝗲💕
	Like Jojoba oil, this was also my first introduction to peptides. There are various types of peptides but the main peptide in this serum is the Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 which is an ingredient that gives fast result for wrinkles. It is an all-inclusive product that helps acne-prone skin, aging skin or pregnant people. The potions claimed that it is a moisturizing daily ampoule for sensitive skin that soothes and nourishes exhausted and irritated skin 


💥 𝑴𝒚 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆
	Since I do not have any wrinkles, I directed my focus to the moisturizing and soothing part of it. I do not have many products that soothe my skin so I thought this would be an opportunity to try this product. It is just as viscous as the jojoba oil serum and it absorbs really fast. It leaves my skin feeling nice and well moisturized. Because this serum has copper in it, I do not use it with any actives. I only use it with hyaluronic acid and sometimes the jojoba oil serum. I use it to soothe my skin too when I notice any redness. As I have not used the product for long, I have not noticed any major difference. I think this is because it works for long-term aging so I would have to use it for a long time to notice any changes. 

💟𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔
It is evident that this trio was given a lot of thought before putting them together which is what makes it very effective in giving the skin all of the hydration the skin needs. jojoba oil for relieving dryness, peptide for moisturizing and hyaluronic for extra hydration. This is a really nice combination and I think everyone should get it whether you have dry skin or not :)

I wonder of there's another necessary section of skincare im missing.

I have these:

 a very good cleanser from cerave

hydrating products - the potions trio and unscented toner from dear klairs

antioxidant - vitamin c

products for dark spots - niacinamide from to and skin 1004 brightening ampoule

calming products - vitamin e ampoule commonlabs and midnight calming cream from dear klairs

exfoliating products - lactic acid (👑) and bha

sunscreen - cosrx aloe soothing sun cream

my point is that I still get tiny pimples sometimes and my skin looks dull most times especially hours after my skincare routine. maybe I should get products for skin barrier or retinol? I'm not in my 20s that's why I haven't gotten retinol yet. I'm 18. 

what do you suggest?

having an applicator doesnt make it very hygienic because it comes in contact with my skin everytime i use it 

it has a very cool feel when you first apply it which is honestly very calming to me. It has a herbal scent which reminds me of Nigeria, my home country as we use a lot of herbal products. It has these tiny (pieces of plant bark??) in them and it kinda exfoliates as you apply it. I have used this for just 2 weeks so i haven’t noticed any major changes but i will be eidting this post later to see if it does something for my skin! so far so goood 😍

- one thing I LOVE about nacific packaging is that they have a "opened date" so you can track the products PAO. It just makes it easier for us skincare junkies to manage the products. 
- The sunscreen comes in this really cute packaging and the writings on it kind of have a shimmer to it especially in the sun. 
- It is a hydrating sun cream with a milky texture. there is a noticeable smell but it moderate.
- It is almost hard to believe this is a sun screen because it feels like a moisturizer. It has no white cast which surprised me as most sunscreens I have used have one. It absorbs beautifully into the skin leaving no residue or greasiness. I will definitely repurchase this product if I have the chance. I give it a 9.

now for the clay mask!!
also got this one for free from picky and nacific.

It is such a beautiful product. It comes in a circular package with two compartments for both clay masks but serve different functions - they grey part is called the sebum zone while the green part is the mask zone. the mask zone was very calming while the sebum zone worked really well at absorbing the oily part of my skin. This is perfect for me because I have combination skin and have trouble with my oily forehead as I get acne on it most times. It helped control it a bit even though it is only temporary. i really like the product and I give it an 8!

what i did not like about it is that it leaves an extremely greasy feel on the face after - my face literally looks like i put oil on it so i don’t use it when going outside for obvious reasons

One thing that really stuck with me while using this product is that it claims that it is for sensitive skin so I was able to use it almost everyday after patch testing of course. My favorite thing about the packaging is the saying “sensitive skin? Come and find me”. I thought this was going to be a perfect product for me since I have really dry and sensitive skin. The product comes in a green bottle made of glass which I was really careful with *flashback to breaking my favorite exfoliating product*

super soothing with 72% tea tree leaf extract to treat skin troubles, acne, control sebum, disinfect skin and improve texture

 🍃 usage 🍃 
I used it as a the treatment for my acne and redness both morning and night once I knew I could tolerate it. I mostly use it with hyaluronic acid because they work well together and also because I like having an extra layer of protection after using anything that targets redness, acne or any problems. I did not use it with actives since I am not sure if they can be used together. I think it is gentle enough to be used with any products though but I am not so sure about that.

It has a very strong smell to it due to its high concentration in tea tree leaf extract but it quickly fades away after 2 minutes or so. Even if you hate the smell of green tea, I suggest you get this product because it worked very well for my skin type and many others. Not to say it will work for everyone, but a try would not hurt. Do not get it if you have an allergy to tea tree

As the name suggests, I noticed my skin was calm minutes after I used this product. It left my skin with reduced redness and a feeling of less sensitivity. Since I have an oily forehead, it also helps control the sebum thereby preventing pimples that occur due to excessive sebum. I had a few pimples on my cheeks before I started using it and within a week, I noticed that most of it either reduced or went away completely.
