Looking for one that doesn't make the dry skin on my face feel tight after use but that also cleanses well. 

I currently use double cleansing but the soap cleanser (Elf Holy Hydration Face Wash) feels like it strips oils and I don't have any to give. 😂  So I can't use my current one daily but it works well on heavy makeup days.

I've also recently tried SERIOUSLY SOOTHING CLEANSING CREAM by ACURE and the ULTRA HYDRATING GREEN JUICE CLEANSER by ACURE. These work well on no makeup days but it's missing that 🤩 nourishing feeling I want.

What non-stripping facial cleanser do you use?

My hair has been dry lately but with an unfortunate amount of build-up. I don't use any styling products but our local water is very hard and that plays a role. and I'm looking for different hair products so any and all are welcome! Thank you!

December is always a busy month for me. In between all the hustle of the season, I'm realizing that I need to take some time out for self-care and one way to do that is through skincare. 

What, if any, pampering do/did you give yourself this season? 🎄🦌

What self-care do you indulge in during December?

Isn't as hydrating as it claims and I haven't noticed any of the antioxidant or barrier repair effects. Perhaps with longer term use. Not hydrating enough for my dry, dehydrated skin.

⭐ Claims vs Personal Results ⭐
- Lightweight? Yes.
- Calming? Yes. I find that on extra irritated days, my skin does not have a problem with this toner (or the matching toner).
- Retain Moisture/Deeply Hydrating? It's not personally deeply hydrating to my skin but it does add some hydration and isn't drying.
- Maskne (Mask Acne). I didn't notice it helping or hurting, which is to say that it's not effective on this bullet point for me but it's also non-irritating and doesn't make matters worse.
- Helps stressed, uneven skin tone and dark spots? After 1 month of use, I did not notice a change. It's possible that I would need to use it longer to see these effects, but after a month of use, I think I'll continue the search.

⭐ MAJOR PROS: Does not leave my skin sticky or greasy. Does sink into the skin. Lightweight moisturizer that is probably better suited for normal, combo, or oily skin types. Free of fragrance, colorant, steroids, drying alcohols, and cruelty (not tested on animals). It is also hypoallergenic and vegan. Explains why it's so gentle on the skin. I do enjoy knowing that it won't break me out.

💫 Despite claims, I did not notice a protective barrier. I seemed to have a similar amount of water loss with or without it. Not enough oomph. This isn't necessarily bad, just neutral.
💫 It does not leave my skin glowing in the way that I hoped. It’s nice but it honestly doesn’t seem that different to making a diy rice toner. The only difference that I can tell after 2 months of use is it’s slightly more hydrating than the DIY one which tended to be better suited for combo/oily skin types. But for the cost I expected better.

Some facts about my personal environment to help paint a fuller picture:
- Climate: Arid, Hot, Low Humidity
- Skin Condition At Time of Use: Dry, dehydrated with some acne along my hairline and temples and some skin redness.

How I Used It:
- Cleanse face (mostly double cleanse), let my face air dry slightly, apply I’m From Rice Mini Toner, serum, cream at least 2 hours before bed.
- Once a day at night for ~2 months

THE GOOD:
✨Due to its water/milky texture, it has a lightweight feel and doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on the skin.
✨Unscented/fragrance free so it doesn't give me a headache nor act as a skin irritant due to the fragrance.
✨ Vegan and cruelty-free
✨ 12 month shelf life after opening

Effective?
✨There is a slight improvement in hydration. And there ~might~ be an illuminating effect, but it’s on par with this DIY rice toner in my kitchen. 

All skin types?
✨Yes, but I’ll add that it seems like it would work on those with really sensitive skin as long as you’re not allergic to rice or any of the ingredients. But that’s the same for any product. It seems like it would benefit people with reactive skin types the most because it is so gentle.

Side Effects?
✨ No side effects for me. It didn’t irritate my skin or break me out, which I can really appreciate as I do have sensitive skin. It was mildly hydrating and did brighten my skin as claimed. 

⚡TLDR;⚡
✨ Standard toner that my skin neither hates nor loves. I would not repurchase this product because it doesn’t seem to do anything that other toners don’t do. It is not a holy grail product, but I do like that it doesn’t break me out or irritate my skin.

- Lightweight? Absolutely. It's a lightweight watery toner that adds a bit of hydration. You could add the toner to a spray bottle and repeatedly spray your face throughout the day without worrying about build-up or irritation.
- Calming? Yes. I find that on extra irritated days, my skin does not have a problem with this toner (or the matching cream).
- Retain Moisture/Deeply Hydrating? It's not personally deeply hydrating to my skin but it also isn't drying.
