Not really too sure if it did much as a physical exfoliant. Adzuki beans to clay mask ratio was definitrly off. It felt more like a clay mask since it didnt really do much exfoliation. The adzuki granules were definitely larger, which could cause microtears. Smell oddly enough reminds me of when it gets super dusty and you’re disinfecting at the same time? Just reminds me of that moment.

Did its job and dried out my breakouts. It definitely calmed doen the irritation. Not as drying as a regukar clay mask. The adzuki beans are pretty soft and way more sustainable than plastic beads. It might just be gentle enough for even sesitivr skin types.

Unfortunately, like most high percentage vitamin c serums it can easily lose its effectiveness. Not even into month two and it had already turned into a yellowish tint serum. If a vitamin c serum starts clear, then turns yellowish, this would mean that the vitamin c has oxidized and lost its potency. I will say on my end that I kept it in my washroom counter top. I would’ve next time left it inside my fridge for a better shelf life, but having to take it out, put some on, and then go back down to my washroom was a hassle.

Saw a dramatic difference in my uneven skin tone and scarring. Fast absorbing and gave me the ideal glow for days! I didn’t really notice a smell? The high percentage really helps with seeing more visible results. Well packaged in a dark glass bottle. 

I think the downtime. I had to wait around 20-25 minutes for it to seep into the skin, and dry down before continuing to the next time. It really lengthen my skincare routine, which would take half an hour to do, then an hour after adding it in.

AMAZING RESULTS! This product is the reason why I don’t have any blackheads till this day. I did develop blackhead at a point in my life, but I saw this on the shelf at a Urban Outfitter near me when they first carried it and was curious to try it out. It’s actually insane how it cleared out all the blackheads on my nose after a week of usage (this was when everyone was exfoliating daily 😭). I did use this as a spot treatment for my nose and worked really well. A lot goes a long way. I did not end up finishing the bottle because my blackheads stopped appearing after using this product.

Some of the ingredients are a no-go like essential oils, so I’d be weary for those who aren’t able to tolerate fragrance. 

Bought it from costco as a set for $20 CAD! Isn’t too foamy, which is a great sign that it wouldn’t strip much moisture out. Gentle on the skin and felt soft sfterwards.

Nothing. I don’t usually have repeats for cleansers, but this one I would restock on. Great beginner product and I feel like it’d be suitable for all skin types!

I have super dry skin and with the Canada winter weather, it doesnt help much. I got this cleanser from the January Picky Box and was initially skeptical with the ingredients. I was surprised though because first time used it literally felt like I only washed my face with water, yet still feeling clean. It doesn’t feel like it stripped my skin, nor did it feel tight. I also tested out how my skin looked like after an hour post cleanse without products, and no flaking skin. A little goes a long way, something like half a pump would cover the entire face. Feels like it’s the closest to my skin’s pH!
