Hi! I’m Sam and I live in NYC and work in social media/digital marketing. I’m superrr interested in shifting into the skincare/wellness industry, but having a hard time making the shift. I’ve interviewed with a few beauty companies, but they question my background since I’ve mostly worked in tech/e-commerce and not beauty.. (even though I use a great amount of beauty products in my day to day).

Anyone have suggestions/advice on how to make this transition? I’m considering shifting careers completely and going back to school for skincare…maybe to become an esthetician? I don’t really know..starting to feel lost and hopeless :/

Skincare Industry Jobs -help!

I have dry, sensitive skin and boyfriend’s scruff is ruining my face!!! Can anyone relate? I’d love suggestions on how I can prevent peeling, irritation, and redness? Or advice on what I can apply to my nose and chin to soothe the skin after irritation occurs??!

SOS! Beard burn

Am I the only one still using Neutrogena makeup wipes??? Hahaha I still love them and feel like they get the majority of my makeup off ..I wash my face after to remove whatever’s left. I’ve heard people say great and terrible things about these wipes. I’ve tried other brand wipes and makeup remover water but it never works great and sometimes burns around my eyes. 

What do you use to take makeup off?? Any suggestions for sensitive/dry skin?

Neutrogena Makeup Wipes

My face and eye lids are super puffy all the time. I’ve been reading up on facial cupping and body cupping and I’m excited to give it a try. I don’t think it’s worth spending a lot on these tools so can someone recommend an inexpensive brand or Amazon shop to purchase from?? I’m new at this so I’d love to learn about your experiences with these tools! And if I should buy silicone or glass cups. Thanks!
