Recently I’ve been thinking to share this topic with you guys. I personally went through this when I was in high school during sports time, but it wasn’t that bad. I’ve noticed many people do suffer from this. Same as others I did think it was because of excessive sweating. And I did hear my mom once told that it’s because of some health problem and all. And yah I did believe those saying, still, I was confused and thought there might be some reason or causes and remedies for this issue. Thankfully, we had a class about skin disorders or problems and I get to ask about this question. 


I’LL BE SHARING SIMPLE AND NATURAL WAYS TO TREAT YOUR BODY ODOUR 


Let us first know a bit about body odour and its causes:-


What is body odour?


-Body odour is an umbrella term for natural smells originating from a person.


2.  How does the bad odour occur?


         We always tend to think that it is all because of too much sweating. But honestly, that can't be the only reason. In actual fact, human sweat is almost odourless. Some people do sweat but don't smell that bad but some people with less sweating themselves give a very bad odour.

‘Bad odour occurs when the sweat meets the famous bacteria’ 😵😱

Literally, our body odour occurs due to bacteria on a person's skin breaking down protein molecules within sweat and producing odour as a result.


  3.  Body odour typically occurs in a specific area of the body. Common areas include the:

         Genitals, armpits, feet, mouth and throat, belly button

4. Causes of body odour.

-Unhygienic is the main cause for bacteria to come in contact with sweat which causes body odour.

-An unhealthy diet can be one of the major causes of bad body odour. ‘Remember You are what You eat.’ 

-Caffeine or alcohol can also make you sweat more.

-Hot peppers or other spicy foods might also lead to body odour.

-Certain food ingredients like onion and garlic can cause bad breath known as halitosis, especially when eaten raw. The distinctive smell is caused by sulfur-containing chemicals in garlic and onion.

-Stress and anxiety can occasionally cause you to sweat more, leading to a stronger body odour.

5. Finally, How do we deal with or treat this odour?

-Take shower twice daily

-Wash your clothes regularly and make sure to wear clean ones.

-Maintain a healthy diet

-Eat citrus fruits( oranges, lemons and pineapples) instead of cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprouts and cauliflower).

-Drink green tea instead of coffee
Eat cardamom and cinnamon instead of onions and garlic.

-Do some yoga or any other fun activities you like which can eventually help you to release stress

-Do not use deodorant spray that may affect your skin in many ways like it can darken your skin under armpits.

-Some home remedies for that:-

●Dilute some squeezed lemon juice with water and pour it into a spray bottle and spray it under your armpits leave for 4 to 5 mins and then rinse it off with water, this way will help to kill bacteria and balance the pH level of your skin

●Instead of lemon juice, you can also use apple cider vinegar and also witch hazel

●In the same way, you can use neem( Azadirachta indica) powder or oil, dilute with water 

●Another effective ingredient is an alum (potassium alum), which is also used as a natural antiperspirant. You can just dip it in water and then directly rub it in your underarms and leave it that’s all.


-Shaving daily reduces body odour. When you remove hair under the armpits and pubic hairs, it reduces trapped odour.

🟢My honest review:

I  got the opportunity to try these amazing skincare products, all thanks to Picky and Skin1004.
I genuinely enjoyed using this sun cream as it got everything my skin requires. I significantly noticed its effects on my skin like it improved my dull and dry skin, and skin texture as well. 
"I CAN PROUDLY SAY THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SUNSCREEN IN THE MARKET" that has no harsh chemicals and works as it claims to be for all skin types.

Its TEXTURE: It has a moisturizer-like texture that would literally run smoothly on the face and absorb quickly. Definitely Non-sticky and smells pleasant and non-thickness. It kinda feels like a combination of serum, sunscreen and moisturizer.

Would you repurchase? "Absolutely"
Is it expensive? Not really, compared to other brands, its price is decent.




Well on the first use,  as it helped in hydrating but I did notice some tiny bumps around my jaw, but I didn&#39;t discontinue as it wasn&#39;t irritating or painful and I kept using daily, and eventually it started fading away.
-This is very important to know that if something worked better for someone that doesn&#39;t mean it will be the same for others.
- Some might notice pimples and other problems but it can&#39;t solely be the problem of the product, we must know our lifestyles like are we maintaining a healthy diet and hygiene or not? It&#39;s very important to know that our lifestyles have a huge impact on our skin too.

Wow! I  didn&#39;t aspect this product to work soo well for my skin. It was a magic product for me.
My skin type:- dry&#47;resilient skin 
Skin condition:-  dehydration, dullness, dry patches,  old acne spots and uneven skin tone.
|Changes after using the ampoule| 
My opinion:- 
• So, it&#39;s been almost one month since I started using it and I&#39;ve noticed a better difference in my skin, it&#39;s more clear than before.
• After day one of using the ampoule, I&#39;ve noticed my skin was more hydrated and smooth.
•One of the best things that I loved about the product was its very calming, hydrating and exfoliating as the products claims.
• It helped my skin from irritation.
• As it is fragrance-free, it feels more like a medicine and natural. And I love that.
• I&#39;ve been using ampoule after Centella toner and have seen drastic changes in my skin and was even complimented by my family members about the change in my skin. This motivated me.
• My skin is more even than before, dullness on my skin has been reduced, acne spots started fading away.

This ampoule has very effective ingredients that really helped in calming my irritating and dry skin.
It absorbs quickly into the skin and it feels fresh.
It got the thick consistency 😍 
I personally loved the scent of this ampoule. It smells like fresh herbs 🌿 and gives that calm morning vibe feeling. And also the scent is not too strong and so I loved it.

It's definitely worth trying 

- I didn't experience any kind of irritation . It can sting a bit if you've any cuts or face wound.

During the summer my face looks oily after using this sunscreen. Even wearing makeup after that it gets oily but in winter it works great. Other than that there was no issue.

I Bought this amazing product from the Benton online store, and it has been almost a year since I bought it. I also bought Benton mini-products but currently, I don’t have them with me.
This has no white cast! Myself as a skin of colour, this product blends into my skin soo well. It claims to be Cooling & Moisturizing & Soothing & Calming and it does what it says. It did not irritate my skin at all and it has a natural satin finish. It smells like an herbal scent which is because of the Rosemary Essential Oil Scent. For sunscreen, it has a light texture without stickiness. The main thing is it's a chemical sunscreen which we have to bear in mind, so if you are allergic to certain ingredients or feel irritation on your skin then don’t use it. But I do highly recommend this to people with any skin type.



I really want to try other products from Benton and I believe Benton produces the most promising skincare products. And it has become one of my favourites.
