If you previously had your Instagram connected to the app, you might notice that it has now been disconnected.
This is due to an important update from Meta, which we addressed in our latest app update. To ensure you can reconnect your Instagram account smoothly, please follow these steps:
1. Update the Picky App BEFORE attempting to reconnect your Instagram. ‼️ This step is crucial. You MUST be on version 4.10.1 on iOS/ 4.10.2 on Android
2. Open the Instagram app on your mobile device.
3. Go to your Profile.
4. Tap the top-right corner to access ‘Settings and Activity’.
5. Scroll down to ‘Your app and media’.
6. Tap ‘App website permissions’.
7. Go to ‘Apps and Websites’.
8. Check if Picky appears under the ‘Active’ apps tab. (Picky should not be on this list. Even after reconnecting)
9. If it does, remove it from the list.
10. Open the Picky App and reconnect your Instagram account. Remember, your account must be a Creator or Business account.
