I am not expert, but i would like to share with you my experience🥺 my skin type more to combination, sensitive and dehydrated. My skin breakout, really bad acne, irritated few months ago. This is how i deal with my skin.
Because my skin is dehydrated (harder than dry skin to take care of🥺) I didnt use cleanser for morning routine. Just cleanse with water and proceed with basic skincare. Just moisturizer and sunscreen.
For nighttime, I double cleanse (a must, because wearing spf). And proceed with treatment care such as:
- hydrating serum (Slowpure brand, underrated but make my skin so hydrated and plump)
- mugwort essence (this really save my skin!💗)
- moisturizer
- acne spot treatment (April Skin)
I keep it minimal and dont want to burden my skin. I really down and at my lower phase in my life at that time, finally my skin getting better and clearer now. And now I am focus on dark spot/post acne treatment to faded the scar.

Every skin is different so better to patch test first because trying, and it’s really just trial and error before finding the right products. But some I use
Morning
Roundlab pine cica cleanser
Anua niacinamide serum
Skin1004 sunscreen
Night
Garnier micellar water
Roundlab pine cica cleanser
Abib calming serum
Fully green tomato cream

laneige’s retinol serum is a game changer for a night routine - i woke up with super smooth baby skin!
for a morning routine - i usually use something with niacin or vitamin c as i live in a humid country, and idk why it seems to help my skin produce less oil compared to other serums
