after stopping use, I’d focus on soothing ingredients such as centella, mugwort, aloe and propolis to calm the breakouts and repairing ingredients such as panthenol, ceramides, humectants and fatty acids to support the skin barrier and build it up again to reduce breakouts. Gentle exfoliation with a PHA could also help, but nothing too strong to avoid further irriation.
