help with blackheads!!

Most likely they are not blackheads, they are sebaceous filaments.. which everyone has and it’s absolutely normal, they just tend to be more prominent if you have enlarged pores and oily skin… it’s impossible to get rid of them totally, but it’s possible to minimize their appearance. Products with salicylic acid help to clean up the pores and niacinamide helps to reduce sebum production. Also double cleanse every night no matter if you use make up or not, do the clay mask 1-2 times a week, make sure your skin is hydrated, but go for oil free non comedogenic moisturizers (and makeup) and use sunscreen every morning!

salicylic acid would help! start off maybe once a week and work up to 2-3x a week if you don't experience irritation. also a clay mask from time to time helps.

BHA (salicylic acid) and AHAs will definitely help! Here are some other options you might want to look into as well, most of these are on the milder side so it’s great if you’re a beginner:)
