This has been the most effective product for me personally. It can be irritating to some but if introduced gradually and used with caution, it can do wonders.
Retinoids and vitamin c can also help in this area but would take longer to see visual benefits.

I have used retinoid and alpha arbutin and have seen great results. Sadly I still deal with scarring due to acne but scarring goes away fairly quick. Be careful with retinoids, always start slow.
