It could be the various pigments from the various red extracts in it, like Dog Rose, rose and tomato extract.

That is the strange thing, the formula doesnโt have that much ascorbic acid to turn brown or oxidize. I agree with DM the company about this

Is there any disclaimer on the packaging box that says anything about the changing of color thing? I know Klairs did put up a precaution notice on the box about the oxidisation if its not stored in a cool, dry place and away from the sunlight.
