Yellow blemish near eye

I have a yellow mark near the eye - rather similar in appearance to a cholesterol lump but apparently it isn’t - any recommendations on how to fade it? Even if to simply cover it up, without wearing foundation. Thank you.

Hi, from what you say it might be xanthelasma or milia or just a yellow pigmentation. I would recommend checking this mark with dermatologist first since it's better to be 100% sure what it is and what we can do about it.

I certainly have millia, the yellow patch I am certain is xanthelasma but my cholesterol level was very low. shall have to see if any dermatologists are local
