Beauty of Joseon vs COSRX

Hi. I'm wondering which product should I buy? I'm into gentle products, and right now I'm aiming to address my acne scars and dark spots, or to improve my skin texture in general. I have AHA/BHA clarifying treatment toner too but I'm looking for a daily toner/essence. If you have other recommendations, just drop them down. Thanks!

I remember that BOJ got into lawsuit for their ginseng products, however I didn't dive deeper to see which particular products. With that in mind, I would choose the cosrx instead.

I just read it in a forum when I saw your comment. Now I'm a bit reluctant, though the product also contains 2% niacinamide and other great ingredients. But anyway, do you have other recommendations? How about Vitamin C toners, or other brightening toners?

Definitely the COSRX Snail 96 Mucin Power essence! It's extremely gentle and I find it's great for repairing and healing skin damage.

Yes. I've read the same insight too. But I think I have to try a smaller version to see if my skin is ok with snail mucin since I've read a lot of comments that purged because of this.

Both are gentle products but won't really address dark spots or hyperpigmentation. These are more for boosting hydration. Serums with brightening ingredients would work better as they are more potent. But if you're looking for a daily lightweight toner/essence, the BOJ might be better due to it's light, water-like texture compared to Cosrx's thicker, slimy, more viscous texture. BOJ would be better for layering multiple times as it's not very hydrating with just one layer, Cosrx is great for when you want quick hydration with just one layer. I think it comes down to the consistency/texture and your personal preference, besides the ingredients.

I'm actually thinking if I should buy another toner/essence, or just buy a large serum since I already have AHA/BHA clarifying treatment toner and I don't really use toners daily but wants to lighten my scars. That's why I'm thinking of buying Skin1004's Hyalu-cica First Ampoule

Snail mucin + peptide sounds cool if youre thinking of trying the cosrx one, but with peptides as a bonus!
