I received this toner for free as part of a Try Me Review Me promotion through Stylekorean. This toner has a high Vitamin C content and claims to improve skin texture, brighten, and clear pores. Key Ingredients: 🍋 38% lemon extract 🍋 50,400ppm glycolic acid (AHA) 🍋 500ppm Salicylic acid 🍋 sodium Hyaluronate 🍋 betaine 🍋 panthenol 🍋 beta-glucan ❌ alcohol denat ❌ contains several essential oils First of all, i think the packaging is super cute with the lemon cap. But unfortunately this toner did not work for me. It comes in a 150ml plastic bottle with the cutest little lemon shaped cap and has a spout to control the amount of product dispensed. It has a strong lemon scent with a thicker essence like texture. I also used this a few times a week as an exfoliating step, on t-zone with a cotton pad. It did burn slightly (due to the AHA) & initially my skin felt smoother & brighter after using. But I had to stop using as I did have some irritation after using a few times. I’ve used several products with glycolic acid before without issue. I’m unsure if it is the lemon peel oil or the other essential oils causing the irritation. I might try using it on my body instead since I did experience issues on my face.
