I applied to damp skin as recommended and it has a warming effect on skin upon application. Since it is a waterless formula it takes a little work to absorb and a little goes a long way. 1-2 pumps is enough. It does leave a slight film on the skin, so I prefer to apply this before bed. Skin looks beautiful and glowy the next day and feels soft and wonderful. Did not irritate my skin at all. Great serum overall. Give it a try.
