Skinpotions - tinyskin review for Tomato Serum

I really wanted to like this product because it had so many good reviews and it was affordable and local. However, whenever I used it, I'd find a new pimple on my face at the end of the day. The fragrance is also just way too strong. It's already at the bottom of the ingredients list but it's still strong. They kept the ingredients list short but kept the fragrance which honestly seems counterproductive. I get that a lot of Filipinos like fragrance in their products (a lot of them don't know the possible adverse effects of high concentrations of fragrance on the skin), but I wish they just omitted it which I think would garner a bigger pool of consumers. Also, there's quite a high concentration of witch hazel. I remember there was a whole obsession with witch hazel in local skincare and almost every local skincare brand had this ingredient. However, this can also be quite drying to a lot of people because it's an astringent ingredient and when used in high concentrations, it can have negative and drying effects on your skin even if you're oily. Moreover, this product lacks hydrating and moisturizing ingredients to compensate for the astringent properties of witch hazel. The fragrance and high amount of witch hazel may have been the main perpetrators to the downfall of my skin when I used this.
