At $36, the price is a little steep. However, the quality + the large 8oz bottle makes this cleanser worth it. I really appreciate the size, since I find a little does not go a long way in this case.

While the Superfood Cleanser isn’t holy grail status for me, I do enjoy using it. I don’t think it’s 100% necessary in my collection, but I say go for it if you’re intrested!

The Youth To The People Superfood Cleanser is a cult favorite for a reason! It’s a gel cleanser that gives a deep clean, without stripping the skin. This is one of the most gentle foaming gel cleansers I have ever used, making it great for most skin types. However, if you have dry skin, it might not be the best match. I find the light “green” scent to be pleasant. 

I personally tend to reach for this cleanser during the summer, when my combination skin leans more oily. When the weather isn’t hot/humid, I prefer a more creamy & hydrating cleanser. 

While this is a thick + rich moisturizer, I don’t think by itself it’s quite intense enough for people with very dry skin. 

There is a good reason this cream is a Holy Grail for so many people! These are some of my favorite things about it-

This cleanser really doesn’t need an introduction. It’s creamy, hydrating, & very affordable. I can 100% see why it’s so popular!

𝐌𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 -

For the value, you really cannot find a better gentle cleanser. I love using it as either my morning cleanser, or when my skin-barrier needs the extra ceramides. The texture is lush, & has the perfect slip. It’s like a lightweight lotion, & it doesn’t foam. If you try to use this cleanser to take your makeup off, you will be disappointed. It’s more for when you need a very gentle, but still effective cleanse. My dehydrated combination skin loves it!

With this cleanser being such an accessible product, you can find it at most drugstores. It costs ~$15/16oz.

In this case, the hype is real💚

Being such an intense product, most people should not use this toner daily. 1-3 times a week is plenty, if you have normal skin. However, if you have sensitive skin, I would avoid this toner. It’s strong, really strong, & it would most likely oversensitive your skin.  

If this toner is too strong to use on your face, try using it on your body instead. It will help smooth any body texture you may have.

The Ordinary’s Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution is my holy grail toner. It gives my resilient skin it’s daily dose of intense AHA’s.

My skin absolutely adores chemical exfoliators, especially AHA’s. So, I have a pretty extensive toner + serum collection containing this ingredient. However, there isn’t a single other product that gives the stellar results that this toner does. It makes my skin SMOOTH. I mean really smooth, & 100% texture-free. I used to always have some sort of texture on my forehead. This toner keeps that completely at bay. During the drier months, I spot treat with this product. I apply it only to my most resilient areas (my forehead). Then, I mix a very small amount with a hydrating toner (in this case, First Aid Beauty’s Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner), and apply it to the rest of my face (avoiding my most sensitive areas, ie under my nose + the apples of my cheeks). 

This serum does contain Avocado Oil, so if you are prone to breakouts, I would not use it everyday. I personally haven’t had any issues using it 3-5 times a week.

This one-of-a-kind serum has a stellar ingredient list, combining 2 stabilized forms of Vitamin C, with brightening + repairing antioxidant cofactors, & a phytonutrient blend.

Basically, this is one special product. As the name suggests, it’s very 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘹. The ingredients work together to create a potent (yet gentle), brightening powerhouse, all wrapped up in a creamy + nourishing formula. 

The texture is that of a rich + milky serum. It absorbs into the skin beautifully, leaving it soft, & glowing. On mornings I’m in a hurry, I will wash my face, & apply only this serum, with an SPF. My skin is always plump, & nourished.

Another thing I love about this serum is the scent. It’s very light, with a slight citrus sweetness to it. I find it to be the perfect product to start my day, or to end my night.
