Anyone else a fan of keeping serums in the fridge and if so which ones? I keep hyaluronic acid in the fridge 🙂

How many keep serums in the fridge?

Nothing was bad but it would be great if there was a mirror inside the palette.

I really love that there are a variety of finishes within this palette (3 matte, 3 shimmer and 2 glitter). There are nude shades of pink, coral, champagne, brown, and beiges. The shimmers are sooo shimmery! I love them. Not only that, I found the lighter shades work as a great highlighter too. 

What impressed me with these shadows is how easy they are to blend. It is nicely pigmented and easily buildable. A spritz of setting spray at the end locked it in place and the shadow lasted all day without any transfer. 

This is a beautiful little palette and perfect for that summer glow! 

Really enjoyed using these refreshing eye patches. These Deep-Sea Marine Complex 73 Eye Patch contain 73% sea water extract, seaweed, amino acids, spirulina, and collagen from the sea which all combat sogns of ageing and hydrate the eye area to give a youthful appearance. They were very easy to apply. I wore them for 15 minutes and they still had liquid product left on them by the end. You get many pairs in the tub so they were great value. Very happy with these eye patches and i've recommended them to my friends. 

Marine Care Deep Moisture Nourishing Melting Cream:

‘Miracle Seawater extracted from sea algae such as seaweed, ecklonia cava, aargassum fusiforme, kelp and more by ultrasonic fermentation at low temperature combined with Liposome Technology delivers a deep and lasting hydration for the skin.’ 

I absolutely love this deep moisture nourishing cream. It is very thick cream-gel texture which is where the melting aspect comes in. It can even be used a face mask due to the power ingredients within it. It has a slight fragrance but nothing overbearing. I use this at nighttime as the last step in my skincare regime directly after serum.

I love that this product contains power ingredients to tackle dehydration and ageing. Not only that, anything that stimulates collagen production wins me over straight away! 

Marine Care Retinol Eye Serum: 

‘Retinol, a synthetic form of pure vitamin A, a key anti-aging ingredient. Retinol stimulates collagen production and the skin renewal cycle! It addresses a variety of symptoms of skin aging, in terms of wrinkles, pores and elasticity.’ 

It’s great when retinol is incorporated into eyecare. The texture is very light and it feels light on the skin too. Like any skincare product, you do not see instant results but after 2 weeks of using this I can definitely see that the eye area has brightened. I am interested to see the long term use of retinol for fine lines around the eyes. You get a huge tube of this cream so it will last ages! I use this in the morning after moisturising although it can be used at nighttime too.

This anti-ageing repair night cream aims to regenerate multiple layers of the skin whilst providing nourishment and hydration. Just like the rest of Hada Labo Tokyo’s anti-ageing range, this cream contains a blend of 3 hyaluronic acids creating their own unique ‘super hyaluronic acid’ formula. It also contains Tetra-peptide-5 which is known to combat wrinkles, fine lines, and dark spots and contains collagen which improves skin elasticity, reduce visible wrinkles, and increase blood flow to the skin.

On first glance, I really liked the packaging. The heavy, blue jar with a silver lid gives it that premium feel.

The cream itself has a rich, creamy gel-like texture so doesn’t leave the skin feeling greasy or oily like some rich night creams do. This is a huge plus for me as I have oily skin.

I used this alongside the super hydrating lotion applying generously to the face and neck. It did not irritate the eyes whatsoever which was a relief as this can be a pain-point for me when using night creams. 

This product is fragrance-free which is my preference. Unlike the rest of the range this night cream doesn’t contain retinol so it is suitable even for those with sensitive skin.
