🤩This company is ❤️ Hydromerse ❤️ and they’re a small Aussie company that ships internationally. Super friendly customer care and they actually have professional skincare for peels and treatment (and after care). 
❣️You def need this LED face and neck light therapy. The neck attachment is great and attaches to the face part and so handy bc it won’t fall off or slip but also gives you the effects for your neck which is usually a place ppl see ageing first. 
➡️Super handy to help with fine lines and wrinkles over time and speed up healing time if you’re into facial treatments or have acne. The diff colour options do different things. And it’s only 10 minutes out of your day. 
✅I find it relaxing and beats the cheap hand held LeD devices by a long shot.

💙Been using this and have used heavy tech like this in the past and it’s far superior to the cheap gadgets that are out there that I’ve also used. I know I’ve read peer reviewed articles in the past and it often has to do with how effective the light therapy is (strength) to actually work.

🧐 I’ve tried using cheaper gadgets before (and even nuface which just don’t have the efficacy or support behind them sadly). But this is close to professional grade (while also getting fda approval to use safely at home ofc).

I know some of you are wayyyyy more advanced in your chemistry knowledge when it comes to skincare. 

Can someone enlighten me on what you think of these ingredients in the pic?

I know the rule of thumb is anything right to glycerin (edit: bc someone took offence 🤦‍♀️ what I mean is the general top tier ‘6’ main ingredients at the top) or at the bottom means it’s likely very little
 (aka if there’s a main ingredient advertised and it’s at the bottom, then it’s likely not all that great and a fraction of what’s actually needed to be effective). 

I know the first couple of ingredients are said to be the main ingredients. 

I’m trying to learn more when it comes to reading labels, if anyone cares to teach me on this, so I can see if I read it correctly?

some have gone off the course thinking I’m worried about what is good vs bad %s . No no no (but hopefully helpful for anyone who does do that bc  a lot of good points made 🥰👏)
so incase I wasn’t clear, it’s more learning how to read the label and perhaps how the CHEMISTRY of the ingredients (and perhaps their %s) can help us or maybe avoid (like some citrus or fragrance/parfum but again, another argument could be the under 1% dosage?! 🤔). 

I’ve done some reading up since this post and so many have offered great websites. 

🧐(Ex paulas choice has a dictionary!? And the study edu site has some great definitions of how products work on a molecular level and even ingredients to run from if you see it listed (especially towards the top or the common ‘first 6 ingredients’)

What I’ve noticed most is that companies have caught onto the ‘k they know that we usually put the most to least ingredients from top to bottom so we’re going to switch it up and not give %s’ 

The chemistry and learning about how to read labels has been such a fun way to look at the products we know and love (or avoid at all costs hehe)

Hi lovelies
I’m wondering if anyone knows what % of vitamin c we should be using with your skincare and if it depends on what type of skin we have (dry,oily etc) and if it matters what % we apply versus consume? (If that makes sense lol)

I was looking at a vitamin c review and what stood out was how the product label has 16% in bold on the bottle and it got me thinking. 
Can we overdo it with vit c if we use it topically AND ingest AND/OR

Is there a specific % we should be applying for diff skin needs? And of course would this change with the diff seasons etc? 

Anyone know? I’d love to learn 🥰

Something I’m currently testing is this creamy delicious and highly active eye cream. It applies so beautifully, doesn’t have any hidden nasties and jam packed full of active ingredients (18 to be exact), such as: caffeine, aloe, sunflower oil, vitamin B3, algae, green tea, HA, dandelion, vitamin E, squalene and MORE! 🤯
#im shocked at how effective this cream is! I didn’t anticipate it to be so effective (like so many eye creams that are just small jars of face cream lol) but this is no regular eye cream. 
It goes on so creamy smooth and small enough particulars of HA that it absorbs beautifully. 
I’ve been using this morning and night and can’t believe how fast it soaks in and leaves this nice radiant glow. Perfect for priming the skin for your makeup base, or wind down after a nightly face mask!!
I’m so happy I’ve found this. 
Im also reviewing/testing their full line behind the scenes and am happy to share my insight since my background is in skincare science 🤓 and I don’t gate keep skincare topicals everyone should be using to maizimze clear, beautiful skin at any age. Compared to a lot of the typical creams out there this is a major win!

I found this great for post inflammation flare ups to help heal my skin & give it a chance to assist rebuilding the barrier 

Great for oily, dry, sensitive skin

I have more to say but just need a min to shorten it 😂

🚫 didnt like how flimsy they are (they come on this flimsy plastic sheet and nails are too close together without a good variety of sizes to work with, so you have to really carefully peel it off and try not to damage the gel and found even if i held down firm everywhere and then cured, it would still lift on the edges). 
🚫 hard to get used to application without tearing some of the adhesive to begin with before curing (you only get 2x of each nail size which made it difficult to learn with over painting with gel. 📸 shows the gaps because the 2 sizes i could work with, it wasnt easy to handle or needed on a diff nail). 
🚫not a big fan of the UV light in durability but also exposure like a tanning bed (need to wear spf on hands which then gets difficult to lay the adhesive down without scraping off spf & you cant have any oil residue for these to stick)

🚫 i thought these were like acrylic fake nails but they’re just like a sticker that you then need to cut or file to your own shape (this is difficult because of the base it comes on is flimsy and the nails are too close together). Not enough universal options to work with. Seems more geared for slim fingers sorta. (🎥 & 📸 if you look at the sides shows where it wasnt wide enough to cover). 

- i had to go out & buy fake nails to be able to use these as my nails dont stay long without chipping lol so i found that also frustrating over just painting them or just buying designed press on nails 

🚫didnt like the limited sizes to work with (only comes with 2 sizes per nail. So it wasnt easy for a first time using stickies & theyre too flimsy to trim on the base they come on to work with. Kinda like not enough options to pick the best sticky & you cant mess up because then you cant grab another. If you’re new to this like me, buy x2 sets to work with). 

🚫difficult to get to stay on the nail (on the sides. Once they cure, they harden and even tho you press firmly, if it doesnt fit perfectly, it will stay lifted. I used nail glue to help but it didnt work everytime). 

Would not recommend tbh 

🎥📸Video shows what it looks like cured before trimming & had to use fake nails underneath as the gel lengths are more geared for slim, long nails. You can zoom in on the sides & still see gaps. 

I like the premise behind these gel nails

✅ better than my one polish/painting as no matter how correctly i do them, the polish breaks off by end of day 

✅ love the different patterns & aesthetic for any occasion

- the end do hold up nicely / I usually find my nails chip so easily but once these are cured they harden nicely. 

-trimming the ends was easy after curing (i found because its too sticky/flimsy when not cured). But in my pics you can still see some chips off the top. So not fool proof. 

-only takes 60s of the lamp to cure them. 

- i like that the led lamp is minimal coverage (still some tho so still need spf). 

Update/ one thing i tried with a diff color set was apply them & cure them on the fake nails and THEN glue the fake nails on. But tbh its still frustrating working with the stickies. You can push out the nails on the sheet but then you’re still holding the tiny nail to trim etc. but just advice if you’re planning on trying ☺️

Keep in mind to give it a minute or two, before applying foundation (your face will feel super soft)
➡️ I personally dont have my sense of smell, but have heard its quite a strong spf (for those that stay away from smells/spf-scent if overpowering)


LOVE!
✅ Great silky non-greasy base primer with no white cast residue (but 50spf!!)
✅Helps to conceal my large pores which i struggle with, having oily/resilient skin. 
✅Dermatologist tested and cruelty free
✅under $20 & squeezes out a small amount (you dont need a lot for full coverage)
✅Leaves a pearly sheen which not only helps with makeup to hide fine lines/pores (the reflector helps hide them as well)
✅Strong SPF 
✅No eye irritation (which i find for me an issue with a lot of spf as it causes a red but not with this and i do tap it over my eyes as well ☺️!)
✅easy to wash off unlike a lot of spfs! 


Slightly sticky residue. Not pronounced. To get around let dry down for a good half hour or dab with powder and youre good to go

The Perfect Dewy Finish in a clean, vegan, spf cream! 😍😍 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘂𝗽 

 I can see why this has been labeled as a holy grail on picky. This makes my cheekbones and nose dance with sun reflection all while acting as an spf. I use this with the coola BB cream pictured/linked as my makeup and im so impressed at its efficacy. Here are my quick thoughts while testing:
✔︎ spf 30 uva/uvb
✅ milk texture that absorbs
✅ great option for eco friendly, sustainable, no animal testing etc
✅ good option for base primer or stand alone. I can wear this on its own but still feel a nice hydrated/plump look

Absolutely have loved this. Ive started rationing when i use this so i can restock before running out. Its an absolute daily staple for a bit of ‘glow’ yet subtle no-makeup-makeup day! Lol
