I need help!
My skin is so complex and it is cramping my style! My skin is not super sensitive, but does have some sensitivities to certain products, usually the ones that would help me the most. Glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and retinol both dry me out, make my skin a bit irritated and causes flaking & peeling. I know for Retinol that is normal, but I can’t seem to get past that part to the “its helping my skin” part. Niacinamide has never seemed to work well for me either. My skin loves some Vitamin C products, but hates others. I have combination skin, mostly dry/dehydrated but I get an oily t-zone, especially my forehead . I’m 34 but I break out like a teenager. I have enlarged pores, fine lines, and a few deep wrinkles that are really bumming me out. I also have hyperpigmentation, but that has improved some since using Six Gldns vitamin C serum. But I am not sure what to use to get myself looking BETTER. If anyone has any tips, tricks, or recommendations please let me know! I am seriously considering getting a referral to a dermatologist, but suspect it will be months before I can get in to see one. Should I just go that route?

✨ Wow! I am so impressed by this sunscreen formula. I typically run into issues with sunscreens. They don’t mix well with makeup, or they make me break out, or the scent makes me nauseous. This formula has a nice, subtle scent of apricot. It wears really well on the skin and actually improves the finish of foundation when applied over it. I experienced no pilling, and my makeup didn’t move around after I applied it. This is the best makeup-compatible sunscreen I have ever come across, and I already have a second in my cart to order.

 💜This unscented, vegan, and cruelty-free formula has a water-like consistency, but slightly more occlusive. I apply as my first step after cleansing, and it absorbs easily into the skin and leaves it feeling soft, moisturized, and plump. It improves the look of fine lines, and wears beautifully with other products while healing, rejuvenating, protecting my skin from damaging free radicals, and encouraging new cell growth. This is a must have for every skin type, but will be especially beneficial for those with dry skin. 

I can’t think of anything I personally did not like about this product.

I love this Organic Cold Pressed Almond Oil by ShinyLeaf! I use it from tip to toes; It helps smooth, hydrate, and add shine to my hair, nourish and moisturize my dry and itchy skin, softens cuticles and adds a sheen to my fingernails, helps keep my feet looking sandal-ready and silky smooth, makes my lips kissably soft, and has great slip for gua sha! It also makes for an excellent carrier oil for essential oils, to dilute and make them last. So affordable too!

I found this wasn’t a good match for me, not because its not a good product but because I need something with a bit more “oomph”.

🌱When I researched the ingredients of this before my first use, I inwardly cringed. I thought certainly that it would be a harsh, drying serum. I was wrong. First, I don’t classify this as a serum— to me, it feels more like an essence. I used this when I got out of work, to be honest. I would double cleanse, use a toner, then apply this by itself to do its job for several hours before my night time routine, & found it relatively effective that way. This is also extremely gentle; again, this may be in large part due to the oil ingredients along with the centella asiatica and other soothing properties. I recommend this to people with sensitive skin, or who are new to exfoliating chemicals.
