I have body acne on my upper and lower back - almost everything, cystic acne, blackheads and whiteheads, hyperpigmentation, acne scars... - for as long as I can remember (started when I was 14-15, until now, 27)
And it's quite annoying, to say the least.

Do you have any tips or recommandations? 😊
Has anyone ever tried these two products from SOMEBYMI and COSRX?

The skincare YouTuber Cassandra Bankson has just released a 20-minute video about La Mer. (If you do not know her, check her out! Her opinions are very detailed and interesting) I really did not know everything behind this brand to be honest, except that a lot of celebrities and people that I follow on YouTube for their skincare routines have their products sometimes.

I do not want to bash the brand at all, as I still would like to try their products, but I find the story behind it quite special...

Unfortunately I have expired skincare and hair (oils) products that have expired, for several reasons:

• PAO expired (For those who don't know: Period After Opening, the little symbol you see on the product with the open jar with "3M" / "6M" / "12M" written on it, that correspond to the number of months)
• Old products I have never finished or barely used and that have expired (Expired date)

I do not know exactly how to throw them away. I live in Germany and we sort our trash (plastic, food, paper...), and I also don't want to throw in the sink or toilet, like some people would do. So like the problem with oil that you used to fry food (I've heard you know to cool the oil and put it in a plastic bottle and throw it with regular trash, not sorted with plastic), I do not know:

• If I have to throw the bottles/tubes away with the product still inside (it has active products like vitamin C or BHA/AHA)
• If I have to first throw what's inside (but where..?) and then throw or recycle the  container for plants or anything else

Do you have any idea (or tips)? Thank you! ☺️

What to do with expired skincare?

I'm currently considering taking care of my eyes and dark circles.

Are there any big differences between an eye cream and eye patches?
Are patches a bit like face masks, but for the eyes? :)

Eye cream or eye patch?

Nothing bad to say about this sleeping mask! I just wished I had a bigger tube of it. 😋

I love the Yuja line from SOMEBYMI. And this sleeping mask is no exception. 🍋
I got this mask from the Yuja kit. 🤗

• Consistency: At first a bit creamy, but then turns liquid. It’s really easy to apply and spread it on my skin. I do not need a big amount to cover my whole face and neck
• Scent: I was really surprised that it does not smell strong (like the toner from the same line, even though I love how it smells!). It has a great citrus scent
• Main ingredients: Niacinamide and Vitamin C are a great combo! I love to use them against my hyperpigmentation
• No irritation, no bad reaction whole and after applying it (I even applied it with the sandwich method for my retinol, and nothin bad to report 😋)
• It does not have a strong sticky feeling. I would not say it’s not sticky at all but it’s totally alright!
• This sleeping mask does not feel heavy on my skin, even when I sleep and wake up

I currently use a 2-3 times a week, and along with other vitamin C, niacinamide and AHA products, my hyperpigmentation is clearly fading!

I actually love the fact that I got it in a tube for the packaging, because I do not have to touch the prosuct directly with my hands, and the hole of the tube is small. All in all, it’s a great sleeping mask to me! 🍋

I do not have anything bad to say about this product, I love it.

One of my favourite essences. 
• I alternate between this essence (morning) and the snail mucin essence from COSRX (night), this duo has really improved my skin: super hydrating&#47;moisturizing, I experience less breakouts over time, and my tone is more even!
• No fragrance, and does not cause any irritation or bad reactions
• Super easy to apply on my face, as it absorbs it well and fast
• The consistency is not watery but also not slimy like the snail mucin. I would say something between the two, but it&#39;s like really agreable to apply it on my face and neck
• Other products with fermented ingredients that I used were essentially toners. I find that great to have an essence with another consistency to use

This product will always belong on my shelf, for sure! 😊

I got this eye cream as part of the Snail Kit from COSRX. 🐌
• The consistency is at first creamy (white&#47;yellowish colour) but slowly becomes liquid (transparent). It is not sticky (as you may think, if you already used the Advanced Snail Mucin Essence from the same line)
• My skin absorbs the cream so well and quickly, and it does not cause me any irritation or oilyness&#47;dryness on my eye area (I apply the cream under my eyes and on my eyelids)
• It&#39;s really moisturizing, and does not make it hard to continue with the rest of your routine
• No fragrance

The first time I used it, it was during my night routine. I wanted to see if the cream could work have an effect on my bags under my eyes (they are a bit dark and as I do not sleep a lot, I looked tired in the morning!). And it did work! I still felt tired 😋 but at least, my eyes area looked as if I had the best beauty&#39;s sleep ever. So this eye cream is a win for me! I love using it since.

I love this sunscreen, but I know that fragrance and alcohol can be risky for the skin. I personally did not have any problems with that, but if you are sensitive to it, I do not know how your skin would react to it. I would try other sunscreens anyway. 🤗

• Not sticky and does not have an oily finish at all
• Really easy to apply, the skin absorbs it well
• Does not smell strong (even though there is a fragrance)
• My skin feels protected every time I apply it

Nothing to dislike about it! I love it.
Some people might react to the product if they use it every day, because of the formulation. But for me, it works perfectly!

My favourite toner! Using it almost every day.
• It feels so fresh while applying it, I guess it is thanks to tea tree, as Iit also smells fresh like tea tee but not strong at all
• My skin loves it every time (AM&#47;PM), it absorbs it super quick, no sticky finish
• The formulation is better for people like me who have acne or want to prevent acne
• The consistency is watery, I put a few drops in my hands and apply it directly on my face, and it does not irritate my eyes or skin
• When I am using another toner, I still take a few drop and apply on acne area (cheeks and chin&#47;neck)

• I&#39;ve noticed great results on my acne already. (I guess also thanks to other products that I use in my routine)
I can notice that I have less breakouts, and when I do have pimples, there are much smaller now and do not last long. I like it. 💚
