This won’t be a long post since my only question is in the title.
It sometimes frustrates me so much that Picky’s test doesn’t have the option to have combination skin type (or normal skin type either). And the fact that you can’t retake the test multiple times.

But the problem is that many people do have combination skin and, at least in my case, I switch my skin type thingy on the app just to see if products work well on both.
I mean, yeah it says how many ingridients are for what type but it still isn’t good enough, at least in my opinion. I also can’t afford to buy separate products for my dry cheeks and oily T-zone.

Let me know what you think and if any of you have recommendations for combo skin as in serums, actives etc. please comment and thank you! 💞

Recently I noticed my forehead is becoming more problematic. I have combination skin with oily T zone. And recently my forehead is forming more pimples and these tiny bumps that are posibly closed comedones.

I’ve been reading about how to treat it and recommendations are AHAs (Mandelic, Glycolic and Lactic acid) and BHAs, also Azelaic acid and Zinc. Now, out of all these actives, I don’t know what to use.

I will leave here some that I considered since they’re available to me (EU). Which ones work for your bumps? Let me know😊

Anyways, I’m in a search for a serum of any kind. Winter is starting soon and I was thinking of adding an active ingridient in my routine (AHA/BHA/other).

❗️My skin is combination type with dry cheeks and oily T zone where I also have some pimples, closed comedones and blackheads.❗️

Also if you have recommendations for a vitamin C serum I would be very grateful.

My budget for a certain product is currently 10€ so nothing pricier than that please. I’m listing some products that I considered so please help me and thank you. 🥰

I’m new on Picky but I’ve been into skincare for a little while now.

My question is how should I add Retinol in my routine and should I add any other products along with it❓

My skin is combination type and I sometimes get pimples on my forehead and my blackheads are very visible.
I was planning on adding in The Ordinary 0.2% Retinol to my normal routine every night hoping it would help.

And about adding more products, if anyone has recommendations for:
- creams for dark eyebags/fine lines
- moisturizer to use on my oily T zone
- any serums/acids I could start using
(not pricy and that it’s available in Europe)

✨Retinol✨ how should I add it to my routine?

It’s a nice moisturising nourishing cream. I really like the ingridient list and the texture. It’s great for dry and sensitive skin and moisturises very well. However it could leave oily skin too oily if you use too much. On my combination skin it worked amazing!🔥

The best gel wash I’ve ever used! For my combination skin it even does its’ job on my oily T zone. 10&#47;10 recommend❤️‍🔥

Only thing is I dont think it does much in the long run. Maybe only that my fine lines around the eyes are slowly getting smaller but it could be from other products.

I really like this Vitamin C concentrate. It smells really good and leaves my skin nice and glowy. It is very cheep and I find it to have the best ingredients out of all Balea Vitamin C products.

It really doesn’t last long concidering its’ price.

It’s very light on the skin for mornings when you dont want to dry out your skin with harsher cleansers. Nice foamy texture.

No bad thing about it. I’m only thinking about buying a second moisturizer for my oily T zone.

I love this product so much! I saw the Hyram’s recommendation and decided to buy. I love how lightweight it is and it works really well on my combination skin even though it says it’s for dry.
