It has a dry mattifying finish even though it’s a creamy-moisturizer like texture. You have to use a good moisturizer after this (and sunscreen if you’re using it in the morning!)
At first it pilled, but I figured out the solution! Prep your skin with a good hydrating toner before applying it. I used to apply it directly without toners and it pilled so badddd.

I used to hate this product because it made my acne worse. Little did I know I was just purging. After I confided in using it again after 1-2 months of leaving it in my shelf, it really changed my acne-prone skin. Almost no acne was growing on my skin now (1-2 there, hormonal stuff 🥲) and slowly but surely, the hyperpigmentation my 3 years of acne are fading away from my skin! The key is patience, people!

It is sold out everywhere. You got resellers jolting up the price. Used to buy it in my local supermarket for around IDR 70k ($5), but now it’s 150-170k ($10-12). 
Also if you are looking for cruelty free ones, Simple claims itself as one. BUT their parent company is Unilever. So.. yeah up to you.

Currently on my 2nd tube! I love the texture which is a clear gel-like, and how it doesn’t leave my skin dry&#47;or tight after using it. Cleanses well BUT you have to use an oil&#47;balm cleanser before it, if you wore any makeup or sunscreen (which you have to, right?)

I didn’t really like it even though it absorbs quickly. Didn’t moisturize my skin well enough (Combo skin here!).

Very, very lightweight. Moisturizes lightly, and contains centella for calming your skin.

Hands down the best acne spot treatment. Better than the mario badescu one even. Bigger tube, more affordable, non-drying, didn’t hurt when I applied it. It checks ALL the mark for the best acne spot treatment. I used to use the ones that has alcohol in it and it dried my acne so bad, it turned redder than before. But this? Hoo boy, no wonder it is sold out everywhere.

It has fragrance. But I don’t mind personally, didn’t have any particularly bad reaction to my skin.

The cheap price! I’m just a college student so affordability is important for me. It absorbs well and quickly into my skin, not leaving any whitecast&#47;minimal one temporarily. It has a bigger tube than most of the sunscreens (70 ml compared to 50 ml ones).
