👋🏻 hello..so I really hope I win this as I am out of cleansing balm.
If I don’t however I am thinking of purchasing it. Have you used it? Is it a good first cleanse for makeup and sunscreen removal? I’m excited because I know figs are full of antioxidants and I like the idea of them being incorporated into a cleansing balm.

Pros
-is so soothing and calming for the skin
-has lactic acid so it really helps with any peeling 
-you would think if your using retina or acids this isn’t for you but it is. It moisturizes while calming but also dissolving the nasty flakies.
-the pump!  This is the best part. The pump! No wasted product. It literally uses every single drop. It’s waaay more hygienic than dipping your fingers in a pot. 
-The pump protects the ingredients as if isn’t exposed to air repeatedly which can degrade the ingredients.
-this is very cosmetically elegant. It’s light and creamy and smooths on easily. It absorbs rather quickly. I use it as the last step in my routine at night. 
-No harsh smell
-This product is made with actual science and research behind it! I know it works because there is research and studies shown to prove it. This brand isn’t based off of unproven claims but rather years of studies, science and continually bettering each product. 
-Lastly, one time! I got a sunburn years ago. That’s when I started using this. That’s how good it is. It hydrates, removes flakes, and leaves your  skin looking fresh.

Its very annoying that you have to use a small plastic spoon to apply. I dont like the idea of putting your fingers into a pot of product over and over as that seems very gross. Using a q-tip seems wasteful. It’s just very annoying to have to wash the spoon each time and try not to lose it since it’s a little clear spoon. You can see in my picture the little spoon. Imagine trying to not lose it. I dropped it and honestly just gave up

Oh how I love thee. Keeps skin soft and supple   thee. Keeps skin soft and supple with no redness. So I am able to layer this at the end of my skincare routine which includes retinol
And acids and I have zero issues. This smooths on very easily and I like how it doesn’t feel wet and gross. I have used other overnight masks, like Laniege and I didn’t like the watery, slippery texture. I like that this is a little thicker and you can actually see where it is being applied on your skin. It will last quite a while as you only need a very small amount. I will keep buying as long as they keep making it.

As a skincare junkie I was very excited to try this product. This is a brand I trust and know used quality ingredients backed by science.

I really appreciate that this product is in a tube because not only is it more hygienic, it protects the efficacy of the ingredients as they are not routinely exposed to air as those in a jar are. I really like that this product is vegan and has no parabens and is 96% natural.

I think what makes this product great is that it’s very effective yet you can use it twice per week. To me this means it is effective yet not overly harsh as it doesn’t strip your skin. 

I applied it one afternoon as I drew a relaxing bath. I double cleansed my skin to make sure it was clean and then gently patted dry. I smoothed the product over my skin using a brush however it is a very cosmetically elegant product so it smoothes so easily you could use your fingers or a cotton swab also. I found the smell to be appealing as it didn’t smell overly floral, it smelled like a chemical peel. It wasn’t overpowering but it had a smell that let you know it would work! 

I left it on for the recommended ten minutes. I did not feel any stinging or pain like I have with other glycolic peels. This was very pleasant to use as there was no lingering chemical scent on the skin as I used it.

I sat back and relaxed and then gently rinsed with cool water followed by a light cleanse. I personally follow with a light cleanser as I don’t want to leave acids on my skin overnight that are meant for a ten minute peel. After towing off I looked in my trust magnifying mirror.

I felt like there was a noticeable glow to my skin and it felt much smoother and softer. 

This product is a keeper! It’s gentle enough for twice weekly use yet present a noticeable result. I consider Caudalie a prestige brand and the price point is very fair. The tube is a generous size and I would easily get several months of use from one tube.

I would like to have information regarding animal
testing readily available. Perhaps the tube could
be made of something other than standard plastic

Although I wasn’t aware of this cleanser before I am pleasantly surprised.
What I liked:
-thick creamy consistency
-emulsified easily and a little goes a long way 
-didn’t leave my skin feeling right, dry or red 
-free of the following:
Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, 
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, 
Talc, 
Ammonia, 
Urea, 
Parabens, 
Synthetic Dyes.
-I enjoyed the creamy texture and the way I was able to massage it into a rich later. I liked being able to taken the time to do some lymphatic drainage massage techniques with my fingers and this cleanser.
-A small amount of product goes a long way. The amount shown in my photo was actually way to much. 
-After doing research on the ingredients I feel even more confident using this product because it has a high safety rating from the EWG which some might disagree with the EWG but I say hey, more info is better. Yes everything is a chemical, even water, but I prefer those that are safer and will interfere less with your body. Your skin is your biggest organ and it drinks up everything you put on it. 
-I love that this product is a tube. It keeps the contents air tight so not only do they not degrade over time, it’s much more hygienic than a jar. Also I am not a fan of pump cleansers because it never fails that my pump will break! 
-Will I purchase this again? Yes! It is great as the second step in my cleansing routine. I use a oil based cleanser and now this product. My skin feels clean but not right. Heads up that if you are using sunscreen, which you better be, you should double cleanse. Sunscreen isn’t easy to remove.

I wonder about the level of protection. Sometimes I feel like it wears off faster than I would like. I notice light perspiration seems to break it down. I reapply multiple times per day and I have noticed slight pilling. To be honest I am exploring sunscreens now from outside the US as I feel the US is behind in allowing cutting edge ingredients.

I like this product because:
-cosmetically very elegant. Smooths on easily and absorbs quickly.
-provides a nice, flattering tint that evens the skin out
-no white cast
-you can layer makeup over it easily
-respected, trusted, doctor recomeded brand
-high level of zinc
-pump formula so contents are not routinely exposed to air 
-for a good quality sunscreen the price is fair 
-can be applied and rubbed in fairly quickly
