I have dry skin, sometime combination. I like a rich cream texture but also like gel creams but sometimes the ones I’ve tried are too light for my skin. I’ll tag some below! 

Sometimes I feel like rich creams clog my pores which leads to whiteheads so I’m looking for a gel cream that would be enough for my dryness, I have my eyes on the Klairs Fundamental Watery Gel Cream but not sure if it would be too light? 

Any recommendations?

Gel Creams for dry skin?

I read into ingredient lists and what a product can offer my skin to tackle my concerns or dryness, dehydration, redness, breakouts and hyperpigmentation but quite often I find myself left let down by lacklustre overhyped skin products. 

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask: This is everything my skin loves but it’s incredible drying for me, it was a huge disappointment. 

Holifrog Tashmoo Lily Water Cleanser: A beautifully silky milk cleanser that sadly leaves my skin feeling like it has a thick layer sitting on it once rinsed. 

Abib Rice & Probiotics Overnight Mask: Great ingredients is far too sticky which makes it unpleasant to use


What are overhyped products that have let you down? Skincare is so personal

I struggle when it comes to be consistent with the products in my routine. All the shiny new launches pull me in. 

I want to be able to narrow my routine down completely and keep using the same products all the time. 

Any tips for this? Are you consistent with your skincare routines?

Consistency is key, but are you consistent?

I’ve tried a lot of toners over the years but there are some that I keep going back to

- Cosrx Propolis 
- Klairs Supple Preperation Unscented 
- Benton Aloe BHA 
-Pyunkang Essence Toner 

All of these are very gentle on the skin and have a viscous texture which I love (I have dry skin) 

What are some toners you keep going back too?

I’m 24 and I’m now trying to find some gentle anti ageing products, any recommendations?

I already use Vitamin C, Retinol and SPF but I’m looking more for hydrating serums, creams and essences that offer anti ageing benefits?

Anti-Ageing early prevention

A beautfiul gel cleanser with effective ingredients. Rice Bran Extract, Green Tea, Liquorice Root Extract and PHA are some of the star ingredients in this cleanser. It leaves my skin feeling balanced. I do prefer this in the summer as in the winter it can be a bit morw drying for my skin. Once you get past the scent its a really enjoyable cleanser to use ❤️

I really wish the price point a was lower, i do think its worth the price but its so expensive compared to other cleansing balms, when shopping at the right place you could get three balms for the price of this.

Luxury in a jar. Sea buckthorne oil is the star on the show and the balm has a light mint &#47;persimmon scent which makes for a beautiful scensorary experince. I have been through six jars of this, i love it that much! It removes sunscreen effortlessly and leaves my skin feeling noursihed and soft. I’ve had no issues with breakouts.

Amazing texture. So lightweight, doesnt leave a white cast and has the SPF rating it says on the bottle. Really moisturising for my dry skin, i use a serum then this and thats it in the morning. Super affordable too!

I’ve used this say and night since receiving it and it leaves my skin feeling and looking flush. I’m not sure whats causing it but it has made me want to stop using it. I had really high hopes for this serum.

Rice is a wonderful ingredient when it comes to brightening the skin over time. This serum has a grogeous texture, its light but creamy and feels very nourishing on the skin. It provides my skin with a good level of hydration prior to using a moisturiser.

Sometimes it takes a while to absorb in and can leave my skin feeling sticky

The snail essence is so hydrating for my dry skin. I find it great for relieving irritation and gives my skin a healthy glow
